🙏 Relief Donation by Thai-Uttrakhand Association

In a heartfelt gesture of humanity, compassion, and community service, the Thai-Uttrakhand Association extended its support to the victims affected by the floods in Bangkok, Thailand.

Essential relief supplies, including drinking water, food items, daily-use necessities, and other essential materials, were collected and donated to help families facing difficulties due to the flooding.

This initiative reflects the spirit of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – The World Is One Family.” 🇮🇳🤝🇹🇭

The Thai-Uttrakhand Association stands together with the affected families of Bangkok during this challenging time, with a message of hope, solidarity, and support.

Special moments with a special guest! 🌟
It was an honor to host renowned Bollywood actor, singer, and comedian Gopal Datt for an intimate dinner at Indus Restaurant, Bangkok. Hailing from Nainital himself, he shared a warm connection with our community and praised the work of the Thai-Uttarakhand Association (TUA) in preserving and promoting Uttarakhand’s rich heritage abroad.

Donation Successfully Completed 🇳🇵

With the generous support of the Uttarakhand diaspora, the Thai-Uttarakhand Association collected THB 63,300, equivalent to NPR 285,000.

We are pleased to confirm that the full amount has been successfully donated to the Government of Nepal’s Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund. The official donation receipt is included for transparency.

We sincerely thank every donor who contributed and stood with the people of Nepal during this difficult time. Your trust, compassion, and generosity made this support possible.

Today marks the beginning of the sacred Nanda Devi Badi Jaat Yatra, a cherished expression of Uttarakhand’s faith, culture, and centuries-old traditions.

The Yatra represents the ceremonial farewell of Maa Nanda Devi from her maternal home as she journeys towards her divine abode in the Himalayas. It brings communities together through devotion, folk traditions, music, and shared heritage.

May Maa Nanda Devi bless every pilgrim with strength and grant them a safe and fulfilling journey.

The Uttarakhand community in Thailand sends its heartfelt wishes to everyone participating in this sacred Yatra.
