The Women in Tech Sri Lanka – Trincomalee Visit, led by Sanali Kaushalya Country Director, was successfully concluded with two meaningful career and technology sessions.
🎓 Our first session was held in collaboration with the Faculty Career Guidance Cell, Faculty of Applied Science, bringing together final-year students from the Department of Computer Science (DCS) and Department of Physical Science (DPS) at TRICOM-Computer Science Society, Trincomalee Campus, EUSL . We explored technology, AI, leadership, innovation, career opportunities, and the skills needed to thrive in the future of work.
💡 We also had the opportunity to engage with students at ESOFT Metro Campus Trincomlee, focusing on career development, emerging technologies, professional growth, and building confidence for the next chapter of their careers.
What makes this journey special is our commitment to taking Women in Tech beyond Colombo and empowering young people across Sri Lanka. 🌏
A heartfelt thank you to the university students, department heads, academics, Trincomalee Campus team, ESOFT team, our Women in Tech Sri Lanka team members, partners, and everyone in Trincomalee who supported this initiative.
And to the people of Trincomalee - thank you for the warm welcome, incredible hospitality, and positive energy throughout our visit. ❤️
From Colombo to Trincomalee and beyond - Women in Tech Sri Lanka is committed to building a future where every young person has access to technology, opportunity, confidence, and the power to shape their own career journey. 🚀
