On Thursday, 7th May 2026 Japan Transport and Tourism Research Institute ASEAN-lndia Regional (JTTRI-AIRO) and Coordinating Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional development will kick-off the first Japan-Indonesia Logistics Working Group Meeting. In this session, we will focus on key issues shaping the future of the logistics sector, including the development of multimodal transport, digitalization, enhancement of logistics hub capacity, and management and human resource development. We will introduce current progress, challenges, and ongoing initiatives in each area, and engage in an exchange of views among participants. For both Japan and Indonesia striving to strengthen supply chain resilience, improve efficiency, and support sustainable economic growth—advancing these logistics capabilities will play a vital role in enhancing regional connectivity and competitiveness.
