Thai Gem and Jewelry Traders Association (TGJTA), together with the Gems, Jewelry and Precious Metals Confederation of Thailand (GJPCT), extended their support for the celebration of the 80th Anniversary of the Diamond, Gems and Jewelry Association in recognition of its long-standing contribution to the development of Thailand’s gem and jewelry industry.
On this occasion, Mr. Somchaiporn Jindarak, President of the Gems, Jewelry and Precious Metals Confederation of Thailand, along with Mr. Suttichai Chuenchomlada, Vice President of the Thai Gem and Jewelry Traders Association, attended the event as official representatives to convey their congratulations and to strengthen cooperation among industry organizations.
The participation and support in this milestone event reflect the strong collaboration within Thailand’s gem and jewelry industry, reinforcing a shared commitment to sustainable development and the continued growth of the gem, jewelry, and precious metals sector.

วันที่ 4 กุมภาพันธ์ 2568 ณ ห้อง Jewel Hall ชั้น 2 ศูนย์การค้าจิวเวลรี่เทรดเซ็นเตอร์ (JTC) กรุงเทพมหานคร คุณสมชาย พรจินดารักษ์ ประธานสมาพันธ์สมาคมอัญมณี เครื่องประดับ และโลหะมีค่า (ประเทศไทย) ได้เข้าร่วมงานแถลงข่าวการจัดงาน “รักล้ำค่าดุจอัญมณี ที่บางรัก” ซึ่งจัดขึ้นโดยสำนักงานเขตบางรัก ร่วมกับภาครัฐและเอกชน โดยมี นายชาตรี วัฒนเขจร รองปลัดกรุงเทพมหานคร เป็นประธานในพิธี

คุณสมชาย พรจินดารักษ์ กล่าวถึง ความสำคัญของเขตบางรัก ว่าเป็นศูนย์กลางทางการค้าและธุรกิจอัญมณีและเครื่องประดับมาอย่างยาวนาน ด้วยเอกลักษณ์และความเชี่ยวชาญที่สั่งสมมา เขตบางรักจึงเป็นที่รู้จักในระดับนานาชาติ การจัดงานที่ศูนย์การค้าจิวเวลรี่เทรดเซ็นเตอร์ (JTC) ซึ่งเป็นศูนย์กลางธุรกิจอัญมณีที่สำคัญ จึงช่วยส่งเสริมและประชาสัมพันธ์ให้เขตบางรักเป็นที่รู้จักในฐานะย่านเศรษฐกิจและศูนย์กลางอุตสาหกรรมอัญมณีและเครื่องประดับของประเทศไทยมากยิ่งขึ้น

สมาพันธ์สมาคมอัญมณี เครื่องประดับ และโลหะมีค่า (ประเทศไทย) ยังได้ชื่นชมสมาคมผู้ค้าอัญมณีไทยและเครื่องประดับ ที่ให้การสนับสนุนการจัดกิจกรรม จดทะเบียนสมรสนอกสำนักงานเขตของสำนักงานเขตบางรัก และเป็นผู้ มอบทะเบียนสมรสทองคำแท้ ให้กับสำนักงานเขตบางรักเพื่อใช้ในกิจกรรมครั้งนี้ ซึ่งถือเป็นตัวแทนแห่ง คำอวยพรอันเป็นสิริมงคลแก่ชีวิตคู่ของผู้โชคดี ที่ได้รับทะเบียนสมรสทองคำ

ในปีนี้ สมาคมผู้ค้าอัญมณีไทยและเครื่องประดับ ได้ให้การสนับสนุนการจัดงาน โดยมอบ ทะเบียนสมรสทองคำจำนวน 14 ฉบับ ให้กับสำนักงานเขตบางรัก เพื่อเป็นของขวัญแทนใจให้กับคู่รักที่มาจดทะเบียนสมรสในวันแห่งความรัก พร้อมทั้งเปิดโอกาสให้คู่รักที่มาจดทะเบียนในวันที่ 14 กุมภาพันธ์ 2568 ได้ร่วมลุ้นรับทะเบียนสมรสทองคำเพิ่มเติม ซึ่งเป็นสัญลักษณ์แห่งความรักที่มั่นคงและเปี่ยมด้วยคุณค่า

The Gems Jewelry and Precious metal Confederation of Thailand - GJPCT Joins the "Precious Love at Bang Rak" Press Conference, Highlighting Bang Rak as a Premier Gem and Jewelry Hub

On February 4, 2025, at Jewel Hall, 2nd Floor, Jewelry Trade Center (JTC), Bangkok, Mr. Somchai Pornchindarak, President of The Gems Jewelry and Precious metal Confederation of Thailand - GJPCT, participated in the press conference for the "Precious Love at Bang Rak" event. This initiative, organized by the Bang Rak District Office in collaboration with public and private sectors, was presided over by Mr. Chatree Watthanakhejon, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration.

During the event, Mr. Somchai Pornchindarak emphasized Bang Rak’s significance as a long-standing hub for gem and jewelry trade. With its strong reputation and expertise in the industry, Bang Rak is internationally recognized as a key business district. Hosting the event at the Jewelry Trade Center (JTC), a pivotal marketplace for the gem and jewelry sector, further promotes Bang Rak’s status as an economic and industry center in Thailand.

The Gems Jewelry and Precious metal Confederation of Thailand - GJPCT also expressed appreciation for the Thai Gem and Jewelry Traders Association (TGJTA) for its support in organizing offsite marriage registration activities for the Bang Rak District Office. The TGJTA has generously donated gold marriage certificates to the district office for use in this special event, symbolizing a blessing of prosperity and happiness for the lucky couples receiving them.

This year, the Thai Gem and Jewelry Traders Association is sponsoring and donating 14 gold marriage certificates to the Bang Rak District Office, offering them as meaningful gifts for couples registering their marriage on Valentine’s Day. Additionally, couples registering on February 14, 2025, will have the chance to win extra gold marriage certificates, reinforcing the theme of love that is both precious and enduring.

The "Precious Love at Bang Rak" event will take place on Friday, February 14, 2025, at the Jewelry Trade Center, featuring a variety of special activities and a romantic atmosphere. Mr. Somchai Phornchindarak, President of the Gem, Jewelry, and Precious Metal Association Confederation of Thailand, Welcomes Delegation from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies

Mr. Somchai Phornchindarak, President of the Gem, Jewelry, and Precious Metal Association Confederation of Thailand, recently welcomed a delegation from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies- Guang Wei (GDUFS), led by faculty members from the E-commerce Department and the Secretary of Education. The delegation, which included representatives from both academia and the private sector, visited Thailand to explore and gain insights into the country’s gem and jewelry industry. This meeting facilitated an exchange of ideas aimed at driving collaboration under China’s One Belt One Road initiative.

The Chinese delegation emphasized that the One Belt One Road initiative, a key Chinese government strategy to foster international trade and investment, views Thailand as a pivotal partner. While China has advantages in production capabilities and market size, Thailand brings invaluable expertise and knowledge in the gem and jewelry sector, which makes it an ideal collaborator in developing e-commerce within the gemstone market between the two nations.

Historically, China's gemstone market has focused primarily on gold, diamonds, and jade, driving up prices in these segments. However, the delegation noted the growth potential for ruby and sapphire markets, which are less well-known in China. The delegation expressed confidence that e-commerce will be a primary channel for gemstone trade growth in China, providing an essential platform to connect Thai gemstones with Chinese consumers on a broader scale.
