Hope must have been a, wonderful mother before she was so tragically left paralysed and then dumped in a concrete storm drain.

She's been a fantastic foster mummy to several young male puppies. Hope doesn't like female puppies! She guarded them every second, day and night.

So when we rescue tiny puppies and Hope can hear their little squeals, she wants to see them.

After they've had their vaccinations and we let them out, Hope is the first to greet them.

Wonderful news. Suki had the drainage tube taken out of her lungs yesterday.

She's had no infected bloody liquid draining from her lungs for the past 4 days. We asked the vet if she should have her drainage tube removed as small spots of healthy blood was draining from her lungs

He told us YES take it out and it's a good sign that healthy blood is all that's draining out. The antibiotics have obviously done a fantastic job killing the infection. Suki also has a new type of natural therapy medication instead of chemo which attacks the 2 tumours in her lungs. CBD oil is also helping her recover.

The temple is so empty now. Only 14 dogs left from over 50. We have 14 at our Healing Centre and they're healing well. Others have either gone to new temples or live in the market area. Our hearts are always with those who were so cruelly poisoned.😭

We're happy to see the remaining dogs are happy and well fed. The monks who used to feed these dogs have gone 🙏. The atmosphere is better so we pray it will stay this way.

Corn, who we were told a month ago may have cancer, is now very sick.

Our local vet examined Corn recently and said his tumour hadn't shrunk despite the antibiotics prescribed by another vet. She suspected infected lymph glands.

Corn's tumour has grown and he doesn't like being touched anywhere near his throat. He's still eating very soft foods with soup. We're giving Corn palliative care with CBD oil and lots of strokes.

Lilly (standing), his sister and constant companion, gives him love and warmth. We can't ask for anything better than that.

White is looking for his brother who died about 3 months ago and he's still grieving.

This is so sad to see. Every time we go to the temple he comes straight out to sniff our car hoping to find his brother's smell. The last time he saw Micky was when we took him to the vet with a horrific, stinking wound in his hind quarters. Micky was on my lap and White was sniffing him and wouldn't let me close the car door.

We never thought Micky would die from his wound but it was far more serious than we realized. He died 2 days later at our Healing Centre.

White has lost his 2 brothers, which is heartbreaking, as they were an inseparable th*****me all their lives. He is about 15 years old now. The monk is very caring with White as he's looked after him and his brothers for 10 years.

Suki has two tumours in her lungs which the vet believes are malignant. These tumours are causing the build up of fluid in her lungs.

Will any compassionate supporter sponsor our beautiful Suki for her remaining days, months or hopefully years? We want Suki to remain strong and happy and we need a supporter who feels Suki's condition to help us give this sweet dog the help she needs.

Suki has been back with us for nearly a week and she's doing amazingly well. She doesn't have any discomfort from the drainage pipe in her lungs and she's very tolerant when we drain them twice a day. Some days she doesn't have any fluid in her lungs.

3 weeks ago Lumpy was covered in 100s of ticks both big and fat full of his blood and small and crawling. In the 14 years I've been caring for Lumpy, I've never seen anything like it. We believe they came from a local technical teaching facility nearby where Lumpy went for lunch! The ticks were in the long grass which he walked through.

Lumpy moved out of the temple and into his lovely current home about 8 years ago with 5 friends. They were all welcomed but tragically they were all poisoned 5 years ago. Only Lumpy survived.

I knew Lumpy was going to be very ill and extremely anemic if he didn't get treatment immediately. He tested positive for E-canis and Anaplasmosis and the infections were very strong. Lumpy would probably have died if we hadn't taken him to the vet quickly.

He had several de-tick treatments as the first one only killed some of the ticks. We gave his owner all the medication Lumpy needed and checked on him weekly. Now I'm happy that Lumpy is not only tick free but he's recovered amazingly well from his dreadful infestation.

We're very sad to tell you that the young pup we rescued yesterday died in the night.

Her little face looked like she went to sleep and didn't wake up. She was given anti inflammatory medication which hopefully relaxed her into sleep.

Our vet was concerned she had extensive internal injuries and her leg had multiple breaks. She wasn't found until 24 hours after her accident. Those 24 hours must have been excruciatingly painful for her.

We're happy she spent her last night on a soft rug lying in a safe place. She drank a lot of water and ate some food.

RIP little lady. I'm sorry I didn't give you a name to take with you. Fly free from pain.
