Mission and duties of the foundation
1. Promote and support the management of education and research studies, the use of water and resources, water sources, energy, digital for the economy and society, and the quality of life of the people.
2. Promote and support the dissemination of research studies and information on water and resources, water sources, energy, digital for the economy and society.
3. Promote participation in the use of communication systems and the use of media to disseminate research activities and public welfare activities of the Foundation as required by law.
4. Promote local participation in determining water and water resource management policies, energy, digital economy and society, environment, ecology, and present to the government sector.
5. Promote and support local government organizations. Local communities have the right under the Constitution to exercise their power and duties in determining policies, plans for water management and water resources to promote public health.
6. Promote management to ensure that people have a good quality of life, with water and food from agricultural products that are safe from pesticides.
7. Promote underground water replenishment to reduce flooding problems during the flood season and to provide underground water for use during the dry season.
8. Promote participation and create understanding among people in the development area according to various project plans for the benefit of the community, which will help reduce conflict and resistance.
9. Promote knowledgeable and capable people in water and environmental resource management, both Thai and foreign, to create and develop technology and innovation for the benefit of Thailand.
