The Operation
In June and July, The Operation will work on several programs, most as yet to be defined. One goal is to build some water filters at programs along the border, preferably at programs that has found a location for the long run. Besides this practical goal it is also to connect skills that are scattered around. Connecting skillful people with those who want to learn. Our first project
is to translate a video and to put Karen, Burmese and Thai subtitles under it. So we look for volunteers to work with us on this. What do we need: A person to help translate from English to Thai, A person to help translate from English to Paw Karen and Sqaw Karen. If somebody wants this video translated into another ethnic language, come and join. And we need somebody with the skill to add subtitles to a video. This person will be asked to help to do this and teach others this skill as well. The Project is a small organisation and depends on help in kind and would like to see that people share and exchange skills while creating for the wider community.
