We’re looking for lovely, dog-loving people to help at Jo’s Joint, the safehouse of DeesDogs.

Around 25 beautiful dogs currently call Jo’s Joint home, all rescued from the streets of Koh Samui. They’re safe now, but they still need plenty of love, care, attention… and lots of walks! 🐶🌴

We’re looking for people who can come by in the afternoon to take the dogs out for a walk. A little bit of your time can mean so much to them. ❤️

📱 Not nearby but still want to help?

❤️Help us spread the word by sharing our dogs’ adoption posts
💰 Help with fundraising or fundraising ideas
🐾 Help find their forever homes by connecting us with potential adopters

This week has been a full-on one behind the scenes at Dee’s Dogs, with something happening pretty much every day.

🏠 Jos Joint: fixing, repairing and securing areas to stop the dogs finding new escape routes. Because apparently, every repair just becomes a new challenge for them! 😂

🏥 Vet runs: getting the dogs who have been poisoned to the vet and making sure they get the treatment and care they need.

🙌🏼 Extra hands on deck: everyone pitching in wherever they’re needed, because looking after this many dogs is definitely not a one-person job.

🌴 Pier feeds: keeping up the regular Tuesday feeds and checking in on the familiar faces around the pier.

💊 Madsum Island: daily doxy medication runs and keeping an eye as they need ongoing treatment.

It’s the part of rescue work you don’t always see. The repairs, the vet trips, the medication, the feeding, the cleaning, the worrying and the constant problem-solving.

There’s always something that needs doing.

So we keep showing up. ❤️🐾 Thank you to everyone who supports us daily 🐶

🐾 Jos Joint Update 🐾

The work at Jos Joint is a daily job. Just when we get one thing fixed, something else breaks, or gets eaten! 😂

Unfortunately, some of the dogs managed to get into durian seeds, which made them sick. The vet has confirmed this was the cause.

It’s a constant job of repairing, securing and improving things to keep the dogs safe and happy. One job at a time. ❤️🐶

An emergency unfolded at Jo's Joint today, proving that teamwork really does make the dream work when saving street dogs! 🐾

6 of our cheeky pups chewed through the fence line at the house and feasted on fermenting durian seeds. Fermented fruit and seeds cause severe dog toxicity and poisoning, requiring immediate emergency veterinary care.

The moment we spotted them, it was all hands on deck:

🛻 Happy Tails Sanctuary rushed over with their truck to help transport all 6 dogs safely & provide some spare fencing panels

🏥 Happy Doggo Hospital provided immediate emergency vet treatment upon arrival.

❤️ The entire Dee's Dogs team appeared at the house to help our ailing pups & fix the fencing.

Every dog needed blood tests, IV fluids, activated charcoal, and anti-nausea, antibiotic, and antihistamine injections. They are feeling rough, but the vets confirmed all 6 dogs will make a full recovery! ❤️🩹

While half our team helped manage the dogs at Happy Doggo, the other half repaired the fence line and poured concrete into the ground to try and prevent this from happening again & ensured our unaffected dogs had plenty of love & cuddles.

Huge thanks to Happy Tails Sanctuary Koh Samui and Happy Doggo for helping to save our precious pups today. Send your love and recovery wishes to our silly durian pack below! 👇

🐶❤️ DOGS LOOKING FOR HOMES ❤️🐶

We’re delighted to have Dee’s Dogs joining us at the Pawsitive Market — with some very special dogs looking for their forever homes.

Dee’s Dogs is a small group of like-minded dog lovers dedicated to the love, rescue and care of the street dogs of Koh Samui.

They focus on three main areas:
🐾 The dogs of Pangka Pier
🐾 The dogs of Koh Madsum
🐾 Jo’s Joint — their safe house and refuge for vulnerable dogs who need some time off the streets.

Their ultimate goal is to find loving forever homes for as many dogs as possible, while making sure every dog in their care receives food, medical attention, safety and, most importantly, plenty of love.

And there’s some extra good news…

🐾 ADOPTION PACKS SPONSORED BY ANIPURA! 🐾

Dogs adopted through Dee’s Dogs will go home with a special adoption pack, thanks to Anipura. ❤️

So if you’ve been thinking about adding a dog to your family, come and meet some of the wonderful dogs who are waiting for their chance.

You might just meet your new best friend. 🐶❤️

📅 Saturday 22nd August
⏰ 12–3PM
📍 Rob’s Dogs Foundation Clinic

Come meet them. Fall in love. Take one home. 🐾

Be there or… no treats for you.
