During high season, we offer tours every day apart from Sundays when we are closed, so our rescue animals can have a rest. For the rainy season, times may vary. Spaces on the tour are limited, so please book ahead and secure your space:

We ask for a small entrance fee of 300 baht for adults, and 200 baht for children. Lanta Animal Welfare is a non-prof

it charity, based on Koh Lanta. LAW's objective is to reduce the suffering of stray injured, abused and sick animals in Thailand through sterilisation and care. LAW also provides mobile clinics and education support to the wider community. Clinic consultations: 10am - 12pm and 2 - 4pm. Closed Sundays

There is an animal waiting for us right now. Injured. Frightened. Hours from the nearest vet.

Our trucks cover southern Thailand, from rural mainland communities to remote islands, reaching animals in places with no vet for miles. That only works if we can afford to get there.

Since March, the price of diesel has risen by 71.5%. That's an extra $85 every fill-up, taken directly from the funds that pay for food, medicine, and care.

Cosie was found tied up on the mainland, 109 kilometres from our clinic, a rope cutting into her neck. Our team made the 218 kilometre round trip to reach her.

She is safe now. But only because we could afford to make that journey.

Pooh is a sweet, gentle young girl who was rescued from a government shelter on the mainland. She has known uncertainty, but thanks to the team at Lanta Animal Welfare, she is healing, growing, and slowly learning to trust again.

She is shy at first. But that is exactly what makes her special.

Because when Pooh finally lets you in, you will feel it in a way that is hard to describe. The first time she chooses to come to you. The first time she settles beside you without hesitation. The first time she looks at you like you are the safest person in the world.

Cosie was left tied up on the mainland, a rope cutting into her neck, her puppies gone. She arrived at Lanta Animal Welfare in pain and afraid.

Today she has zoomies. She runs on the beach. She greets the people in her life with a warmth that makes you feel like the most important person in the world.

Children of the Forest supports stateless and vulnerable migrant children near the Thai-Myanmar border in Sangkhlaburi. Over the past decade, they’ve helped more than 5,000 children access education, healthcare, and protection. Work that truly matters.

Halu is a happy, playful boy who loves everyone he meets—people, dogs, and especially kids! Despite having only three legs, he’s full of energy and keeps up with the best of them. Nothing holds this boy back from living life to the fullest.

He was rescued from the mainland with an injured front leg. Thanks to the amazing care at Lanta Animal Welfare, Halu is thriving. He’s now ready to share all his joy, affection, and tail wags with a family who will love him just the way he is.

Early one morning, a box was left outside our gates.

Inside were kittens. Tiny, shivering, and crying for a mother who was gone.

Someone left them there and walked away. Sadly, this is not unusual for us. But every time it happens, it breaks our hearts all over again.

Kittens this young need round-the-clock feeding, formula, and medication just to survive their first weeks. It is intensive and costly.

That care is only possible because of people like you.
