Dear community and dive shops.
We're are currently working with the Koh Tao Police, Marine Police and other authorities searching for anything that may have come from the HTSM Sukhothai vessel that sank on Monday 19th December, during the storm.

We are asking that while you are out on your boats, if you see anything like life jackets, bags, IDs etc floating, please can you retrieve the items and report to Rescue or Police and we can come pick it up pass it on to the authorities.

For safety reason, in order to prevent any accidents, the Marine Department has disallowed all boats from operating between 3-5 January 2019.

Please beware of strong storm winds and storm surge. Although the storm changed the direction a bit but please still be careful and stay safe.

There are 3 evacuation points / storm shelters that you can tell tourists or people who may need help.
1. Koh Tao municipality (Chalok)
2. Koh Tao temple (Sairee)
3. Kamnan Daeng office (opposite the down road Mae Haad before Pens).

Koh Tao Rescue team and Government authorities are on stand by for the community. If you require assistance please contact Koh Tao Rescue on 087 9790191.
