Remember that hobby you were absolutely going to take up?

The sewing machine that's now under a blanket.
The Dremel that saw one project.
The paint brushes that haven't seen paint since COVID.
The toolbox you bought because you were "going to build stuff."
The craft supplies. The gardening tools. The mysterious box of "I'll use that one day."

Well... today might be that day.

I'm building an Eco Lab at Ruamrudee International School, and instead of buying new equipment, we're giving old things a new purpose. Every forgotten tool or dusty gadget could become part of a student's next invention.

If you've got tools, jars, storage containers, buckets, screws, measuring tools, lamps, sewing gear, art supplies, bits of timber, clean scrap materials, or anything else gathering dust in the garage or cupboard, I'd love to hear from you.

Help me clear your garage while filling our Eco Lab.

Small Boat Familiarisation Training completed! Another milestone in building the CRT’s urban flood rescue capability. By adding these practical boat-handling skills to our MFA and SWR training, the team continues to grow into a more capable and well-rounded rescue unit. Special thanks to Rob for his excellent instruction and support.

Today, we are sharing photos of the final link in that chain — the people delivering the support and essential items that were needed.

But this final link was only one among many. Behind it stand all those who donated, helped, shared information, organized logistics, and offered their support.

This assistance was made possible by your collective generosity. Thank you to each and every one of you.

We are still welcoming donations, as we continue to assess the real and evolving needs of the affected families in the days ahead.

After the devastating fire in a Burmese village in Phuket, which left more than 500 people homeless, the Phuket Veterans stepped in and committed to providing rice cookers to many of the affected families.

We have launched a donation appeal and hope to deliver meaningful support as early as tomorrow.

We are here. You are here. Together, we can make a difference.

Disasters never make appointments, and emergencies never give warnings. That is why we train every month in first aid, rescue techniques, rope work, knots, and river crossing. Preparation today is what allows us to make a difference tomorrow. 💪🇹🇭
