On 05/09/2026 Banchang Utapao VFW Post 12146 conducted our General Monthly meeting. Our post conducted business as usual, members discussed upcoming activities and community service events. Our newest officer JVC Michael Parrot was voted and sworn in. We had a few guests in attendance and were honored to hear the story of U.S. Army Veteran Eduardo Perez about his journey and experiences from an immigrant to a proud U.S. Veteran and American. Comrade Steve and Comrade Terry also gave our post neighbor our monthly donation of supplies for her bed ridden husband. Our post was also honored to receive an appreciation from M.C. Sports presented to our Commander Patrick.

On 3 May 2026, Ban Chang Utapao VFW Post 12146 conducted its Annual Day of Service. Ten Post members attended a ceremony and unveiled newly donated lecture chairs to the Ban Chang District Learning Encouragement Center.

The chairs will support adult students working to complete their secondary education and pursue meaningful careers or further post-secondary opportunities. Each chair features the Post’s logo, serving as a lasting reminder of the VFW’s commitment to the local community.

The VFW Day of Service highlights veterans coming together to make a tangible impact. By combining resources, engaging community support, and dedicating time to service, the initiative showcases the continued leadership and dedication of veterans who remain committed to serving others.
