Driver killed and woman injured in shooting incident in Mudon
7 April 2026

HURFOM: At about 4 pm on April 4th, 2026, two junta’s vehicles driving in the 8th Union Highway Road were attacked by the revolutionary forces between Yaung Daung and Kwan Hlar villages, Mudon Township, Mon State.

The incidents took place for about 30 minutes and a truck driver was shot and killed.

Nearly 900 undocumented Burmese migrants arrested in Thailand within three months
7 April 2026

HURFOM: From January to March, 2026, Thai authorities arrested nearly 900 undocumented Burmese migrants who used illegal border routes to enter Thailand.

According to the data collected by HURFOM, 695 undocumented persons were arrested in January, 109 were arrested in February, while 68 were arrested in March. In total 872 persons were arrested within three months.

The arrested included elderly persons, women and children. All paid anywhere from 20,000 to 25,000 Thai Baht per head to brokers for transportation fees.

Junta’s airstrikes injure local man and destroy 15 houses in Bilin

The Human Rights Foundation of Monland (HURFOM) has released the March 2026 issue of its Mon Forum, documenting a sharp escalation in attacks against civilians across Mon State, Karen State, and Tanintharyi Region. A liter of gasoline hits 30,000 MMK (6 USD) on Mon State’s black market
6 April 2026

HURFOM: Due to the global fuel crisis, the junta has restricted the sale of gasoline and in Mon State, an owner of a motorbike can buy only 5,000-MMK gasoline; an owner of a tricycle can buy 10,000-MMK gasoline and an owner of a family van can only buy 30,000-MMK gasoline.

However, small gas shops in remote villages are selling a liter of gasoline at 12,000 MMK to 20,000 MMK. Even these shops have now run out of gasoline and currently, a liter of gasoline is selling at 30,000 MMK in the black market.

In targeted areas of the Human Rights Foundation of Monland, fuel shortages are hitting the most vulnerable the hardest. In Paung Township, Mon State, local farmers are facing growing difficulties in buying fuel, with many now forced to carry their water pumps to fuel stations and wait in long lines just to purchase small amounts, according to agricultural workers.

ဒေသခံတို့၏ သက်မွေးဝမ်းကျောင်းလုပ်ငန်းကို ထိခိုက်လာသည့် မြေမြှုပ်မိုင်းအန္တရာယ်

၂၀၂၅ ဩဂုတ်လဆန်းပိုင်းတွင် တနင်္သာရီတိုင်း ရေဖြူမြို့နယ် ရာဖူးကျေးရွာအုပ်စုရှိ ကျေးရွာများတွင် စစ်ကော်မရှင်တပ်နှင့် တော်လှန်ရေးတပ်ဖွဲ့တို့အကြား တိုက်ပွဲဖြစ်ပွားခဲ့သည်။

တိုက်ပွဲပြီးနောက် စစ်တပ်က စစ်ကြောင်းထိုးလေ့ရှိသည့် ရာဖူးရွာဟောင်းနှင့် ရွာသစ်ကြားရှိ ရာဘာခြံများနှင့် ဥယျာဉ်ခြံများတွင် ကရင်အမျိုးသားအစည်းအရုံးနှင့် တော်လှန်ရေးတပ်ဖွဲ့တို့က မြေမြှုပ်မိုင်းများ ထောင်ထားခဲ့သည်။

“စစ်တပ်က စစ်ကြောင်းထိုးနေတုန်းက ကရင်တော်လှန်ရေးတပ်က မိုင်းတွေ ထောင်ခဲ့တာ။ မိုင်းထောင်ထားတဲ့နေရာတွေကို ရွာသားတွေကို ပြောပြမထားဘူး” ဟု ဒေသခံတစ်ဦးက ပြောသည်။

စစ်ကော်မရှင်တပ်က အဆိုပါနေရာမှ ပြန်လည်ဆုတ်ခွာသွားပြီးနောက်ပိုင်း တော်လှန်ရေး အင်အားစုများက မြေမြှုပ်မိုင်းများကို ရှင်းလင်းမှုပြုလုပ်ခဲ့သော်လည်း တချို့ခြံများတွင် မြေမြှုပ်မိုင်းများ ဆက်လက်ကျန်ရှိနေဆဲ ဖြစ်သည်။

အဆိုပါမြေမြှုပ်မိုင်းများ၏ အန္တရာယ်ကြောင့် ဒေသခံခြံလုပ်သားများသည် ခြံသို့သွားလာရန်နှင့် ဥယျာဉ်ခြံများကို ရှင်းလင်းရန် အခက်တွေ့နေကြောင်း သိရသည်။

“စစ်ကြောင်းက ပြန်ထွက်သွားတော့ မိုင်းတွေ ပြန်ရှင်းတယ်။ ဒါပေမဲ့ ကျွန်တော်တို့ ခြံသွားရင်းနဲ့ ကျန်နေတဲ့မိုင်းတွေကိုလည်း တွေ့နေရတယ်။ အဲဒါကြောင့် ခြံရှင်တွေက ခြံတွေကို မြက်မရှင်းရဲဘူး။ ဒီအတိုင်း ပစ်ထားလိုက်ရတယ်” ဟု ရွာသားတစ်ဦးက ပြောသည်။

ပြီးခဲ့သည့် ၂၀၂၅ ခုနှစ်အတွင်း သစ်ကိုင်းခြောက်များ ပြုတ်ကျလာမှ မိုင်းပေါက်ကွဲမှုများ ဖြစ်ပွားခဲ့သကဲ့သို့ တိရစ္ဆာန်များ မိုင်းနင်းမိပြီး ပေါက်ကွဲမှုများလည်း ဖြစ်ပွားခဲ့သည်။ လူထိခိုက်သေဆုံးမှုကား မရှိချေ။

“တောထူတဲ့ခြံတွေမှာ မိုင်းထောင်ထားတာ များတယ်။ အဓိကအလုပ်က ခြံအလုပ်ဆိုတော့ တောဘက်သွားရတာပဲ။ ကြောက်လည်း လုပ်စားနေရတယ်” ဟု ရာဖူးရွာသားတစ်ဦးက ပြောသည်။

၂၀၂၆ မတ်လ (၂၉) ရက်နေ့တွင် ကျွဲသလင်းကျေးရွာမှ ရာဖူးကျေးရွာသို့ စစ်ကြောင်းထိုးလာသည့် စစ်ကော်မရှင်တပ်သည် ရာဖူးရွာသစ်နှင့် ရွာဟောင်းကြားရှိ ဥယျာဉ်ခြံတစ်ခုတွင် မြေမြှုပ်မိုင်း နင်းမိပြီး မိုင်းပေါက်ကွဲမှုကြောင့် စစ်သား (၄) ဦး ဒဏ်ရာရခဲ့သည်ဟု ဆိုသည်။

အဆိုပါမြေမြှုပ်မိုင်းပေါက်ကွဲပြီးနောက်ပိုင်း ဒေသခံပြည်သူများ၏စိတ်တွင် အကြောက်တရားများ ပိုမိုကြီးထွားလာသည်။

အာဏာသိမ်းပြီးနောက်ပိုင်း တော်လှန်ရေးတပ်ဖွဲ့များသာမက စစ်တပ်ကပါ မြေမြှုပ်မိုင်းများကို ပိုမိုအသုံးပြုလာကြပြီး စစ်တပ်၏တပ်စခန်းအနီးအနားရှိ ဥယျာဉ်ခြံများ၊ ကျေးရွာချင်းဆက်လမ်းများနှင့် ပြည်ထောင်စုလမ်းမတလျှောက်တွင် မြေမြှုပ်မိုင်းပေါက်ကွဲမှုများ မကြာခဏ ဖြစ်ပွားလေ့ရှိသည်။

မွန်ပြည်လူ့အခွင့်အရေးဖောင်ဒေးရှင်း၏ စီမံကိန်းဒေသများဖြစ်သည့် မွန်၊ ကရင်နှင့် တနင်္သာရီဒေသများတွင် ၂၀၂၅ ဇန်နဝါရီလမှ ၂၀၂၆ ဖေဖော်ဝါရီလ ပထမအပတ်အထိ မြေမြှုပ်မိုင်းပေါက်ကွဲမှုကြောင့် ထိခိုက်သေဆုံးသူ (၄၁) ဦးအထိ ရှိခဲ့ကြောင်း သိရသည်။
