Since June 2026, Phra Ajahn Wichai Kammāsuddho, together with his disciples and followers, has been planting trees to expand green space and create a “green lung” for the city of Mueang Phon on the temple’s land. More than 1,500 trees have been planted so far, and the tree-planting project will continue until the entire area of approximately 42 rai has been planted.
We rejoice in and express our sincere gratitude to:
* Phetchabun Provincial Forest Nursery Center
* Maha Sarakham Provincial Forest Nursery Station
* Rayong Provincial Forest Nursery Station
* Waeng Yai Forest Nursery Station, Khon Kaen Province
* Surin Provincial Forest Nursery Station (Buachet District)
for providing the tree seedlings for this project.
