Mission Statement:

Happy Feet Thailand is a charity initiative dedicated to providing underprivileged students across Thailand with something many of us take for granted—a new pair of shoes. Our Vision

We envision a Thailand where every child, regardless of background, walks confidently to school with dignity and comfort. What Makes Us Unique

Unlike most charitable efforts, Happy Feet Thailand does not accept cash donations. This ensures full transparency and a direct connection between giver and receiver. Why Shoes? A new pair of shoes does more than protect the feet:

It boosts self-esteem

Encourages school attendance

Improves academic performance

Enhances social participation

Happy Feet Thailand was founded by Mr. Lover Banuag, a Filipino educator working in Thailand. Inspired by his own experience of wearing hand-me-downs as a student, Mr. Banuag decided to turn his story into a mission—ensuring no child has to walk to school in worn-out shoes again. How You Can Help

“No child should walk to school carrying the weight of poverty on their feet.”

A HAPPY STORY

Today, our hearts were touched by a little boy with a very big dream, a dream to simply go to school like every other child.

This young boy had been attending classes wearing only slippers. As a transferee student, his family was struggling financially and could not afford to buy him a proper pair of school shoes. His teacher, deeply concerned for his welfare, reached out to us and asked if there might be someone willing to help.

Without hesitation, we contacted World Class English, a language school we know truly cares for students in need and believes that every child deserves dignity, confidence, and hope.

Together, we went to the school and handed the shoes to the boy.

But instead of immediately smiling, he became quiet… hesitant… and tears slowly rolled down his cheeks.

We gently asked him what was wrong and why he didn’t want to accept the shoes. With the help of his teacher, the boy softly admitted that he was afraid his mother would get angry because they had no money to pay for them.

That moment broke our hearts.

We hugged the boy tightly and told him:

“You do not have to pay for anything. We only want you to be happy, comfortable, and proud as you go to school. Just study well, enjoy being a child, and keep smiling.”

After hearing those words, he slowly wore the shoes…

And then came the smile.

A genuine, beautiful, innocent smile.

Moments later, he was happily running and playing with his friends full of confidence, joy, and excitement.

That smile…
That happiness…
That feeling of giving hope to a child…

THIS is the reason why Happy Feet exists.

To World Class English, thank you so much for helping us put a smile on this lovely boy’s face. Your kindness means more than words can express. May God bless you even more for the love you continue to share.

WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL 2026

Another school year begins…
Another chance to dream, to learn, and to change a child’s future.

As classrooms open their doors once again, many children will walk into school carrying hopes bigger than their struggles. Some will arrive with worn-out shoes, tired feet, and silent battles no child should ever have to face.

But this year, we pray that no child walks alone.

At Happy Feet, our mission has always been simple to bring comfort, dignity, confidence, and hope to children one pair of happy feet at a time. Because we believe that when a child feels cared for, they walk taller, smile brighter, and dream bigger.

This semester, we hope to make even MORE kids’ feet happy.
More children walking proudly to school.
More smiles in hallways.
More confidence in every step they take toward their future.

But we cannot do it alone.

We are calling on everyone parents, teachers, friends, students, businesses, and kind-hearted people, to join our cause. Whether through donations, support, sharing our mission, or simply spreading kindness, YOU can help change a child’s journey.
