As a 501(c)3 non-profit, Francis + Benedict exists to empower and equip skilled Togolese seamstresses by providing them with dignified and sustainable employment. Our handmade clothing marries American style with West African wax print textiles in order to create fashion-forward apparel for the modern woman. We aim to make a lasting global impact by using our love for people and fashion to change communities…One outfit at a time.

Today we want to introduce the Gibson’s Girls Higher Education Fund, which aims to provide higher education for a Togolese student.

Our current recipient is Grace Avoyi. Grace (Francis and Benedict’s daughter), is currently studying pharmaceutical science in Senegal with 2 years of classes and a year of research yet to complete. Her dream is to return to Togo and serve as a pharmacist.

As we close the door on 2024 and look forward to 2025, we want to invite you to give towards our House of Peace, the center of all we do in Togo.

Our House of Peace includes our workshop for our sewists, child development center for their children, houses mission trip teams and education seminars, and is the hub of our impact initiatives.
