SACA CHAMPIONSHIPS 2026: DAY 1 WRAP-UP ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ฟ
Our sprinters gave it their all on the track yesterday against incredibly tough competition. While the results didn't go our way this time, we are immensely proud of the fight Team Eswatini showed.

Here is how Day 1 concluded for our 100m athletes:
1. Machawe Mahlalela pushed hard in U20 Men's 100m Final, crossing the line in 7th place with 10.70 seconds.

2. Bandzile Simelane fought hard in Heat 2 of the U20 Men's 100m semifinals , placing 5th with a time of 10.70 seconds, just missing out on a spot in the final.

3. Yoliswa Simelane clocked 13.12 seconds to finish 4th in Heat 2 of the U20 Women's 100m semifinals, narrowly missing out on advancement to the final round.

Every race at this level is a building block for the future. Heads up, champions the nation is right behind you as we look ahead to today's remaining events.
