No more silence. No more hiding. 🛑We are taking the fight against Gender-Based Violence directly to the streets with our Town to Town GBV Campaign. Abuse thrives when communities look away. Impunity ends when we stand together. We are visiting local towns to educate, support survivors, and demand strict accountability for perpetrators.

We can do this one town at a time💪🏽💜

One town down, and we are just getting started. 🌍✨We just wrapped up our first stop, but our mission to end abuse is moving across every community. This isn’t a fight we can win alone. True protection happens when towns unite, neighbors collaborate, and the next generation leads the charge.

Next town, get ready. We are coming to collaborate, activate, and protect. 🖐️❤️

Day 2✨
Topic: A Feminist informed approach in empowering survivors of gender-based violence
We explored survivor-centered approaches grounded in dignity, choice, and healing, while reflecting on how power, patriarchy, and intersectionality shape lived experiences.
Through honest dialogue and shared learning, we deepened our commitment to creating safe, supportive spaces for everyone to be heard and empowered.
The journey continues as we transform knowledge into compassionate, feminist-grounded practice💜

These days we are busy creating a space for learning, critical thinking and deep reflections through our feminist training sessions. Together we are challenging norms, amplifying voices and strengthening our commitment to gender justice and social change.
Grateful for the energy, honesty and collective wisdom shared✨👏🏼
The work continues💜💜

On December 10th (yesterday)we marked the last day of ‘The 2025 16 days of Activism against Gender-based violence’. EIA stood together with SWAGAA and countless survivors, advocates, and allies to honour the lives affected by gender-based violence. As we marked the final day of the 16 Days of Activism, our commitment deepened: Ending Impunity for Abuse, Harassment and Violence is not just a project—it is a promise.

We are driven by the belief that every voice deserves safety, every story deserves justice, and every act of courage brings us closer to a world where violence is neither tolerated nor ignored. Standing in solidarity with survivors reminds us that change is possible when communities rise together, speak out, and refuse to be silent.

Let this moment fuel our mission. Let it strengthen our resolve to challenge systems that enable impunity, to support those who bravely come forward, and to build a future defined by dignity, accountability, and hope.

The fight against violence does not end after these 16 days.
Our work continues—until every person is safe, respected, and free from violence.

Today's marks the beginning of The 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence✨️💜

This an annual, global campaign running from November 25 (International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women) to December 10 (Human Rights Day). It is a dedicated effort to raise awareness, challenge discriminatory attitudes, and call for action to prevent and eliminate violence against women and girls worldwide.

Purpose: To symbolically link gender-based violence (GBV) to fundamental human rights issues, emphasizing that violence against women is a violation of human rights.

The 2025 Theme:
For 2025, the global theme set by the UNiTE campaign is "UNiTE to End Digital Violence against All Women and Girls".
This theme highlights one of the fastest-growing forms of abuse, including online harassment, image-based abuse, cyberstalking, and the use of AI to create deepfakes. The campaign calls for collective action to ensure digital spaces are safe for everyone, advocating for better laws, tech company accountability, and survivor support (UN women's website).

How to Get Involved
-Individuals and organizations can participate in the campaign in various ways:
Raise Awareness: Use social media to spread the message and join the conversation

-Learn more about different forms of violence, including digital abuse, and challenge harmful social norms and stereotypes that perpetuate violence.

Support Survivors: Advocate for stronger policies that support survivors and empower women to speak out about Gender-Based Violence.
