Happy International Youth Day
This year’s theme, “Different Contexts, Common Aspirations,” reminds us that while young people may have different experiences and realities, we share the desire for dignity, equality, opportunity, and a future where everyone belongs.
At ESGM, we celebrate young people who continue to speak up, lead, advocate, and create change. Our differences shape us, but our shared aspirations can unite us.

Happy Women’s Day! 💜
Today, we celebrate women in all their diversity—their strength, resilience, courage, and the many ways they shape our communities.
Every woman deserves to live freely, safely, and with dignity, regardless of who she is, who she loves, or how she expresses herself.
This Women’s Day, we honour the women who keep showing up, speaking out, breaking barriers, and making space for others.
Here’s to women who resist, women who lead, and women who transform.

The ESGM registration case has been a long legal journey.
From the initial refusal to register ESGM in 2019, through the High Court in 2022, the Supreme Court victory on 16 June 2023, and the Minister’s subsequent refusal, the matter has continued through the courts.
On 27 July 2026, ESGM appealed, taking the matter to the next stage of the judicial process.
But what does an appeal mean? It is an opportunity for a higher court to review whether the lower court made an error in law or procedure.
This case is about more than registration. It is about justice, equality, freedom of association and civic space.

This case is about more than the registration of one organization.
The ESGM court case is about whether people can come together, organize lawfully, and advocate for their rights under the Constitution of Eswatini. It is about freedom of association, human dignity, equality, and the role of civil society in building stronger communities.
Throughout August, we will take you beyond the headlines to unpack the legal process, explain why this case matters, answer your questions, and share what it means for civic space and human rights in Eswatini.
Because justice goes beyond registration, it is about protecting the constitutional rights and freedoms that strengthen our society.
Follow the campaign, join the conversation, and stay informed.

Happy Women's Month! 💜
This Women's Month, ESGM celebrates the strength, courage, and leadership of all women who continue to shape a more just and inclusive Eswatini. We honour the women who challenge injustice, build communities, care for others, and inspire change every day.
We also recognize that women are diverse. Every woman deserves to live free from discrimination, violence, and exclusion, with equal opportunities to thrive.
As we commemorate Women's Month, let us continue working together to create a society where every woman is respected, protected, and empowered.
Happy Women's Month

We build communities. We don't break laws. 🏳️‍🌈

ESGM has filed its reply to the Minister of Commerce's opposition in the High Court registration case. Seven years, one unanimous Supreme Court victory — and we are still asked to justify our existence.

We are not asking for new rights. Only what the Constitution already promises every liSwati: the right to associate, to organise, and to belong.

The matter now awaits a hearing date. We're not going anywhere.
