What God begins, He is faithful to complete.

Before there was a church building at Nsubane ICBC, there was a community gathering under a tree. When God provided resources to build, the journey was not easy. Just as the church was nearing completion, strong winds caused the walls to collapse because the foundation was not strong enough. But the church held on to God’s promise — believing that despite the setback, He would give them a home. And He did. Today, Nsubane ICBC stands as a beautiful testimony of God’s faithfulness.

Pastor Khanyisile’s own story is just as powerful. After years of moving between churches, she always felt that God was calling her somewhere else. She didn’t know where at the time, but every visit back home led her to the church that once met under a tree. It was the only place where she felt completely at peace. Now she knows: God was calling her to Nsubane all along.

Today, this ICBC site is vibrant. It is a place where a preschool is growing, children are being fed, families are coming together, and the community is trusting God for sustainability projects and even a future primary school.

Somewhere between A and Z, confidence is built, curiosity is awakened, and a future quietly begins to take shape. And behind it all is a teacher who turns a simple chart into a doorway of possibility. This is the work of an ICBC teacher. Every day, they step into classrooms not just with lessons, but with purpose. They teach with patience, creativity, and care, knowing that each child carries potential that must be nurtured. They celebrate small wins, encourage hesitant voices, and create safe spaces where children are free to explore, ask questions, and grow.

“And why are they so invested?” you may ask.

Because they know that when these children master their ABCs, they gain the ability to one day write their own impact stories, draft their own business plans, and lead the development of their communities—and the nation of Eswatini—from the inside out.

To every mother, in every form that love takes, today we honour you.

We honour the spiritual mothers who nurture souls, the gogos and caregivers who step in when life becomes difficult, the teachers and mentors who pour wisdom into the next generation, and the women who love children as their own even without the title of “mother.” Your care leaves fingerprints on lives forever.

We celebrate the biological mothers, and the women who carry children in their hearts. To all mothers raising little ones, guiding teenagers, mentoring young people, fostering hope, adopting with love, praying in secret, sacrificing daily, and standing strong for their families and communities, thank you.

Today we also hold close the women carrying silent pain: those longing to become mothers, those who have experienced loss, those grieving children in heaven, and those wondering if anyone sees their tears. God sees you, loves you, and your womanhood, love, and value are not defined by what you have or have not carried.

Happy Mother’s Day to you because you have loved, nurtured, comforted, protected, taught, prayed for, or stood in the gap for another life. Your impact powerful and deeply needed in the world.

Seeds of Hope in Eswatini

We are still reflecting on the incredible time we spent with our Challenge Ministries UK team! This group didn't just visit, they rolled up their sleeves and became a vital part of our community during their stay.

Through our Mission Impact department, the team focused their energy on practical, long-term empowerment. Swipe through to see the progress:
🌱 Sustainability in Action: The team spent hours in the fields, working side-by-side with locals to prepare a new garden site. This project is about more than just planting; it’s about building a foundation for food sustainability that will nourish the community for seasons to come.
🤝 Lasting Partnership: Beyond the physical work, it was a joy to see the relationships formed and the encouragement shared between our visitors and the local families.
