Kuyenteka Shiselo, a Federation formed in 2022 comprising of 20 members from 10 ACAT Cluster Level Associations within the Ngudzeni Inkhundla and surrounding areas, held a Teenage Pregnancy Campaign at Ngudzeni in the Shiselweni region.

The Campaign which began with a walk led by the Royal Eswatini Police Service band, was graced by the presence of the Deputy Prime Minister, Thuli Dladla.

The Deputy Prime Minister during her speech urged the young people not to rush into sexual activities as they could lead to Teenage Pregnancy, " Bangajaki umdzaka litulu lingakani". She emphasized patience, responsible decision making and called on parents to take an active role in raising children, cautioning them where needed.

Kuyenteka Shiselo was officially launched by the Deputy Prime Minister during the Campaign. The Secretary of the Federation, Cebsile Simelane stated that their programme is a community driven effort which continues to address social challenges affecting communities.

The Campaign also featured speeches from Ngudzeni Member of Parliament, Naticc, Eswatini National Youth Council, Social, Health, Baylor Foundation all addressing teenage pregnancy concerns. Community engagements through Lutsango, Poem and Q&A Sessions also encouraged responsible behaviour amongst young people and strengthening collective action.
