Story: Over 200 university students participated in the Bring Your Fire Live Dialogue held at House on Fire, Malkerns, engaging directly with UNFPA and partners on health issues under the theme “Beyond Access: Rethinking Health Equity in Eswatini.”

The discussion explored why greater investment in mental health and s*xual and reproductive health and rights ( ) is critical, how poverty, stigma, misinformation and inequality continue to shape health outcomes, and what is needed to create more inclusive, youth-friendly and responsive health systems.

Representing UNFPA, Gender and Youth Analyst Ms Zenanile Dlamini emphasised that health equity cannot be separated from economic justice, education, social protection and gender equality.

Today, UNFPA convened the Second Hlonipheka Thriving for Dignity Programme Steering Committee Meeting in collaboration with the European Union in Eswatini and The Deputy Prime Minister's Office Eswatini.

The committee meeting provides an opportunity to track progress made under the programme, reflect on key achievements, and discuss challenges faced during implementation as partners continue working together to strengthen dignity, protection, and support for survivors of violence and persons with disabilities.
