Stakeholder Validation Meeting- The Proposed Eswatini Nursing and Midwifery Council Bill, 2026

On Wednesday, 7 October 2026, the Eswatini Nursing Council convened stakeholders at Sibane Sami Hotel to validate the proposed Eswatini Nursing and Midwifery Council Bill,2026

The engagement followed the consolidation of inputs and recommendations received through the stakeholder consultation process and provided an opportunity for stakeholders to consider the proposed provisions, provide further clarity, and ensure that the Bill responds to the needs of the profession and the public.

The successful validation marks an important step towards finalising the Bill and advancing a strengthened regulatory framework that promotes safe, quality, ethical and accountable nursing and midwifery care, while protecting the public.
