Today the EMF responded to the National Malaria Programme’s request to counter a shortfall in the critical chemoprophylaxis medication taken when traveling to malarias areas; Malarone as well as injections used in severe malaria; Artesunate. These were handed over to the Minster of Health Hon Mduduzi Matsebula at the Central Medical Stores. Collectively these drugs were worth 0.5 million Emalangeni.
