Happy Africa Day! 🇸🇿🌍

Today we celebrate the rich heritage, resilience, and immense potential of our continent. As young Africans, we are not just the future — we are the architects of Africa’s rise.

At YCCIE, we remain committed to building a prosperous Eswatini and a stronger Africa through youth entrepreneurship, innovation, and economic empowerment. From “Handshakes Not Handouts” to “Made in Eswatini”, we continue to push for real transformation and unity in action.

Let us honour the vision of our forefathers by creating opportunities, breaking barriers, and executing with the true “Nkwe” Spirit.

The Youth Chamber of Commerce and Industries – Eswatini actively participated in the first session of the Joint National Steering Committee (JNSC) for the United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF) 2026–2030, held at the UN House in Mbabane.

The high-level meeting, co-chaired by Hon. Dr Thambo Gina, Minister of Economic Planning and Development, and H.E. George Wachira, UN Resident Coordinator, focused on endorsing the 2026–2027 Joint Work Plans and strengthening coordination for national development.

We are proud to be part of this important platform, ensuring that youth empowerment, entrepreneurship, and economic inclusion remain central to Eswatini’s development agenda.

As the Minister emphasized, this is a defining moment for collective stewardship and decisive action in line with His Majesty’s “Nkwe!” call.

We remain committed to playing our part in accelerating sustainable economic transformation and creating opportunities for young people.

OACPS-EU Joint 1st Parliamentary Assembly in Eswatini.

The Youth Chamber of Commerce and Industries proudly joined youth representatives/Leaders from Eswatini at the historic 1st Africa-EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly held in Ezulwini this week.

The Youth actively participated in important discussions on strengthening partnerships between Europe and Africa, youth policy, security cooperation, critical raw materials, and the effective implementation of the Samoa Agreement. During the Youth Forum that followed, we further engaged on Youth Education and Mobility, amplifying the voice and priorities of Eswatini’s young people on the regional and international stage.

A big shout-out and sincere appreciation to Eswatini National Youth Council and the Ministry of sports, Youth and Culture for championing youth inclusion and giving young people the opportunity to be part of these crucial discussions. Your support continues to open doors for meaningful youth participation and leadership! 🙌

Together, we are building a stronger Africa-EU partnership for the future.

Historic Partnerships 🤝 (YCCIE x COMFWB)

Today, the Youth Chamber of Commerce and Industries – Eswatini (YCCIE) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Commonwealth Women’s Network (COMFWB) Eswatini Chapter.

Speaking during the signing, the Chairperson of COMFWB Eswatini Chapter said:

“Our mandate is to uplift women and youth. We have not had an organisation like the Youth Chamber that has direct contact with the youth. This MoU will play a big part in working together to empower youth, women, and persons with disabilities.”

YCCIE President, Sakhile Nsibandze, expressed her excitement:

“I am really happy with this partnership and believe the youth of Eswatini will also be happy. With the 21 chapters that COMFWB is operating, this could mean a lot for Eswatini in terms of collaborating with youth from different countries, creating opportunities, and expanding partnerships on the global stage.”

This strategic alliance marks a new chapter in our commitment to youth empowerment, women’s economic participation, and inclusive development.

Together, we are stronger.

We are proud to have been part of the 2026 Made in Eswatini Consumer Fair as Patners🤝🇸🇿

The event was a remarkable success—bringing together innovation, entrepreneurship, and the true spirit of local excellence. From emerging startups to growing SMEs, the fair created a powerful platform for young people to showcase their products, connect with new markets, and tell their stories.

As the Youth Chamber of Commerce & Industries – Eswatini (YCCIE), this is exactly what we stand for: empowering youth, supporting local businesses, and driving sustainable economic growth.

A special shoutout to Peculiar People for organizing such an impactful and well-executed event 👏 Your efforts continue to create meaningful opportunities for young entrepreneurs and local businesses across Eswatini.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to Her Royal Highness the Princess Sakhizwe for supporting initiatives that uplift young people and promote local enterprise. Your support continues to inspire growth and opportunity across the nation.

Moments like these remind us that the future of Eswatini is in the hands of bold, creative, and resilient young entrepreneurs.

We remain committed to creating more opportunities that uplift, connect, and inspire.
