🚧Day 2 of the Shiselweni Community and Faith-based Leaders sensitisation. 🚧
Today's session has attracted participants from the Southern part of the Shiselweni Region who have gathered at the Matsenjeni-South Inkhundla.

Yesterday, 25 February 2025, marked the first day of the engagements with Community and Faith-based leaders on common cancers in the Kingdom, prevention through the vaccine, the expanded programme on immunization, prevention and nutrition. The meeting took place in Nhlangano, at the Mathendele Community Hall.
The collaborative workshop by Population Services International, Eswatini and the Health Promotion Eswatini Unit was made possible with the support of Unicef Swaziland.

Working with Health Promotion Eswatini through Unicef Swaziland support, Population Services International, Eswatini is hosting Faith-based and Community leaders from the Hhohho Region to sensitize them on health issues. Topics being deliberated include Common cancers that are preventable through the vaccine, Nutrition and HIV prevention, care and treatment.
The sensitization sessions have been ongoing since Wednesday 19th February until Friday, 21st February 2025 in the Hhohho region and will be followed by the Shiselweni, Manzini and Lubombo regions.
As trusted and influential figures in their communities, after the sensitization, Community and Faith-based leaders are to deliver health messages and collect feedback back to the Ministry of health through the Community feedback mechanism to improve community engagement efforts by the Ministry of Health Eswatini.
