🌈 Dismantling Gender-Based Violence Means Protecting Every Body — Including LGBTQAI+ Youth 🌈
Gender-Based Violence (GBV) doesn’t affect everyone the same way — but its impact is deeply felt by all of us.
For LGBTQAI+ young people in Eswatini, GBV often shows up as:
❌ Discrimination in schools, workplaces, and health settings
❌ Verbal, emotional, and physical abuse from family and community
❌ Bullying, harassment, and social isolation
❌ Harmful practices and denial of identity
❌ A lack of access to safe, affirming spaces and services
🚫 This is not acceptable. And we refuse to be silent.
As the United Youth for Sustainable Globe, we are PROUD to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with LGBTQAI+ communities and their allies, working to build a just, inclusive, and compassionate society.
This means:
✅ Creating platforms where LGBTQAI+ voices are heard, respected, and celebrated
✅ Promoting safe, affirming spaces for young q***r people to thrive
✅ Challenging harmful gender norms and advocating for inclusive policies
✅ Providing education that reshapes how we view gender, identity, and justice
💥 This is more than a cause — it’ a commitment
We are here to amplify the resilience of LGBTQAI+ youth, to honor their rights, and to work every day to ensure their safety, dignity, and belonging.
