This Menstrual Health Day, Days for Girls Clubs proudly attended the EU Bushfire Schools Festival today🩸.

It was a day filled with creativity, learning, confidence, and youth empowerment as our girls engaged with students from different schools while advocating for menstrual health, dignity, and breaking stigma.

Days for Girls Eswatini Program Officer recently attended the African Menstrual Product and Market Development Forum, an important platform bringing together advocates, innovators, and stakeholders committed to advancing menstrual health across Africa.

For many years, menstrual products have not been standardized, leaving gaps in quality, safety, sustainability, and accessibility for girls and women. The forum created critical awareness on the importance of product standardization and the need to place innovative, sustainable, and organic menstrual-friendly products on the market.

As Days for Girls Eswatini, we remain committed to advocating for safe, dignified, and environmentally conscious menstrual solutions that empower girls and women while protecting their health and future.

Days for Girls Eswatini, in partnership with Mbuluzi Mbabane Rotary Club, donated hygiene dignity packs to Vuvulane Primary and High School in the remote Lubombo region. Many learners in this community come from squatter camps and face daily challenges linked to poverty, high HIV/AIDS prevalence, and teenage pregnancy.

Girls received one pack of disposable sanitary pads for immediate use, as well as a Days for Girls Mini Pod,a sustainable reusable pad that can last a girl up to three years. This approach ensures both short-term relief and long-term menstrual dignity for learners.

Beyond providing dignity packs, Days for Girls also facilitated impactful workshops on menstrual health, puberty, and sexual and reproductive health education. These sessions created a safe space for learners to ask questions, gain confidence, and access life changing information that empowers them to make informed decisions about their health and future.

Together, we continue to restore dignity, break stigma, and ensure that no girl misses out on education because of her period. 💜

From meaningful conversations to an exciting game of bingo, today reminded us that every stitch, every lesson, and every act of support creates dignity, confidence, and opportunity for girls.

A special thank you to Rotary Club Lake Union and Lynwood for purchasing a car for our organization. Because of your generosity, we can now reach even more girls in communities that need us most.

Thank you to everyone who continues to believe in our mission and walk this journey with us. Together, we are changing lives, one girl at a time.
