Over the past few years, the Guba Makers Market has been shaped by many hands 🌱
🖐 Hands that grow food,
👐 hands that make,
🤝 hands that share, exchange, and connect.
Initiated by Guba as a way to create direct pathways between local producers & the wider community, what began as a simple idea became a living ecosystem - bringing together farmers, artisans, & artists in one shared space.
Through these markets, hands met across tables -
fresh produce, handmade goods, music, poetry, & stories moving between people, building relationships & livelihoods together.
We want to acknowledge everyone who shaped this space alongside us 👉
🌿 the farmers & vendors who showed up with consistency & care
🎤 The Kitchen, who brought the stage to life & created a platform for artists to be seen, heard, & celebrated
🎶 the musicians, poets, & performers who shared their voices & talents
🤝 & the wider community who came to support, connect, & be part of something growing.
The Guba Makers Market, as it has been held, is now coming to a close.
What has been created doesn’t end here - it lives on in the hands, relationships, & networks that continue beyond this space.
As Guba continues to evolve, new forms of gathering, learning, & exchange will emerge in alignment with our work & direction. We look forward to sharing these with you in time.
