What a BLAST these young ladies had today at Elawini Lodge as they were appreciated for their hard work, diligence andd commitment to She Power!

💗They had a full day of fun, food, swimming and an important lesson on how they have a unique purpose!

“I want to make a change in my family’s standard of living.”

“I want to finish school and get to varsity.”

💗They were also asked who has impacted their lives the most. One girl replied:

“My mom, who always pays my school fees and encourages me when I’m not on the top 5 students list at school.”

Thank you ladies for your devotion to being the change in your life, family and community!✨

You are appreciated!

Giving Tuesday is here! This is a day recognized internationally as a day of giving to organizations that speak to your heart♥️

We pray you will consider us in your giving this year! We are SO excited about what’s in store for She Power in 2025!

Your gift will help us do SO much! Below are a few of the efforts we need funding to support:

1. She Power Creatives Club (SPCC): continuing to empower young woman weekly by teaching income-generating skills, social & emotional skills as well as learning about their identity in Christ.

2. She Power Conference: a two-day conference held annually where young women participate in four workshops that teach a variety of income-generating skills and healthy relationships.

3. Lihiya (Traditional Wrap) Workshop: a workshop held annually where young women gather in teams, design a lihiya, and the winning team receives an all expenses paid trip to Yebo Art Gallery to learn how to screen print their design on fabric. All girls receive their own lihiya as a keepsake (as well as all volunteers) and all who attend get a keepsake headband as well.

4. Starting a She Power Building project: to move all She Power events, clubs and workshops into a proper space to host 50+ girls regularly. Our future vision includes our own lihiya printing workshop, and this space would make that possible!

Comment below or message us with any questions!

Thanks for keeping us in your prayers as you consider your year end giving!♥️
