Objectives:
• Promote investments in cultural projects by:
- Developing business plans/feasibility studies for
cultural projects and communicate them to
the business community to implement them;
- Acting as an advisor to the private sector
entities and individuals that are interested in
cultural projects and assist them in finding the
necessary funds to concretize their projects;
- Acting as a
catalyst and consistently invest
a portion of the foundation’s endowment in
cultural projects;
- Developing a “cultural industry” sector to
ensure that all components of our heritage
(art, music, handicraft…) are not forgotten;
- Creating awareness about the socio-economic benefits of cultural business projects;
- Cooperating with Governmental agencies to create an attractive business environment for the cultural industry.
• Share and connect knowledge about the Syrian Culture in Syria and across the world by:
- Acting as a catalyst to allow full interaction and engagement between Syrians and their cultural heritage;
- Facilitating and catalyzing cultural exchange programs;
- Promoting historical sites and museums (nationally and internationally);
- Interacting with other NGOs and foundations to achieve our goals.
• Act to protect and preserve our historic resources by:
- Increasing awareness about the importance of preserving our heritage;
- Developing public and private policy initiatives that encourage the protection and preservation of museums and
historic sites;
- Raising funds to revitalize/build new museums and preserve historical sites.
الأهداف
• تشجيع الاستثمارات في المشاريع الثقافية من خلال:
- وضع خطط عمل / دراسة الجدوى للمشاريع الثقافية،
وطرحها على مجتمع الأعمال لتنفيذها،
- تقديم الاستشارات في المشاريع الثقافية، والمساعدة
في العثور على التمويل اللازم لها،
- العمل كمحفز للاستثمار في المشاريع الثقافية،
وتخصيص منح دائمة لها،
- تنمية قطاع خاص يعنى بالصناعة الثقافية لضمان
استمرار التراث الثقافي،
- خلق وعي بالفوائد الاجتماعية الاقتصادية للمشاريع
الثقافية،
- التعاون مع الجهات الحكومية لخلق بيئة عمل تشجع
الصناعات الثقافية.
• المشاركة وتبادل المعلومات حول التراث الثقافي السوري، داخل سوريا وعبرالعالم، من خلال:
- العمل كمحفز لتحقيق التفاعل والاندماج بين السوريين وتراثهم الثقافي،
- وضع برامج تبادل ثقافي محفزة، وتسهيل تنفيذها،
- الترويج للمواقع الأثرية والمتاحف )محلياً وعالمياً(،
- التفاعل والتنسيق مع المؤسسات الأخرى غير الربحية لتحقيق أهدافنا.
• العمل للحفاظ على مواردنا التاريخية وحمايتها ب:
- رفع الوعي بأهمية الحفاظ على تراثنا.
- وضع وتطويرسياسة مبادرات عامة، وخاصة، لتشجيع الحفاظ على المواقع الأثرية والمتاحف، وحمايتها،
- العمل على تأمين مصادر تمويل لتجديد / بناء متاحف جديدة والحفاظ على المواقع التاريخية.
