📚 الاستثمار في التعليم… استثمار في مستقبل سوريا
استقبلت جمعية الإحسان الخيرية التنموية وفداً من جمهورية كوريا الجنوبية برفقة منظمة اليونيسف في زيارة ميدانية إلى مدرسة الكفاح، ضمن مشروع قنديل التعليمي، للاطلاع على نتائج أعمال التأهيل والترميم والتجهيز التي شهدتها المدرسة، ومتابعة أثر هذه التدخلات على البيئة التعليمية والطلبة المستفيدين.
وشهدت الزيارة حضور سعادة سفير جمهورية كوريا الجنوبية لدى الجمهورية العربية السورية، السيد غيوسوك غيون، وفريقه، إلى جانب ممثلين عن منظمة اليونيسف، حيث اطّلع الوفد على سير العملية التعليمية داخل المدرسة، والتقى بعدد من الأهالي والمجتمع المحلي، واستمع إلى آرائهم حول التحسينات التي ساهمت في توفير بيئة تعليمية أكثر أماناً وملاءمة للأطفال.
وتُعد مدرسة الكفاح المدرسة الثانوية الوحيدة المخصصة للفتيات في المنطقة، ما يمنحها أهمية خاصة في دعم حق الفتيات في مواصلة تعليمهن والوصول إلى فرص تعليمية آمنة وقريبة من مجتمعاتهن.
وقد ساهمت أعمال التأهيل والترميم في تحسين البيئة التعليمية وتهيئة المدرسة لاستقبال المزيد من الطالبات، في ظل تزايد أعداد العائلات العائدة إلى المنطقة وارتفاع الحاجة إلى خدمات تعليمية قادرة على مواكبة مرحلة التعافي والاستقرار.
كما أتاحت الزيارة فرصة للاطلاع بشكل مباشر على أثر التدخلات المنفذة في دعم استمرارية التعليم وتحسين ظروف التعلّم، بما يعزز قدرة الأطفال على الوصول إلى تعليم نوعي في بيئة داعمة ومحفزة.
🤝 وتعكس هذه الزيارة أهمية الشراكات الدولية في دعم قطاع التعليم، وتؤكد أن توفير مدارس آمنة ومؤهلة ليس مجرد تحسين للبنية التحتية، بل استثمار حقيقي في مستقبل الأطفال والمجتمعات المحلية. كما تؤكد هذه الزيارة، التي جاءت ضمن برنامج ميداني استمر يومين، أهمية الاستثمار في التعليم كأحد الركائز الأساسية لدعم التعافي المبكر وتعزيز استقرار المجتمعات المحلية.
وتواصل جمعية الإحسان، من خلال مشروع قنديل التعليمي وبالشراكة مع منظمة اليونيسف والجهات الداعمة، جهودها الرامية إلى توسيع فرص الوصول إلى التعليم، وتحسين البيئة التعليمية، وتعزيز مشاركة المجتمع المحلي في دعم العملية التربوية، إيماناً بأن كل طفل يستحق فرصة عادلة للتعلّم وبناء مستقبل أفضل.

📚 Investing in Education is Investing in Syria’s Future
Al-Ihsan Charity and Development was pleased to host a delegation from the Republic of Korea, accompanied by UNICEF, during a field visit to Al-Kifah School under the Qandil Education Project.
The visit aimed to observe the results of the rehabilitation, renovation, and educational support interventions implemented at the school, and to assess their impact on the learning environment and the quality of educational services provided to students.
The delegation was joined by H.E. Mr. Gyusuk Geon, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Syria, along with his team as well as representatives from UNICEF. During the visit, they toured the school facilities, observed educational activities, and met with members of the local community, including parents and beneficiaries, to hear firsthand about the improvements made and their impact on children’s learning experiences.
Al-Kifah School holds particular significance as the only secondary school for girls in the area. The rehabilitation and improvement works have helped restore access to education for adolescent girls, providing a safer and more supportive learning environment and ensuring that more girls can continue their education close to their communities.
The visit provided an opportunity to witness the positive outcomes of these interventions in creating a safer, more inclusive, and more supportive learning environment for children, while strengthening access to quality education within the community. These improvements come at a critical time as the area continues to experience increasing returns of displaced families, creating growing demand for quality educational services. Strengthening educational infrastructure is therefore an important contribution to both community recovery and long-term stability.
🤝 The visit formed part of a two-day field mission aimed at reviewing the impact of humanitarian and development interventions across multiple sectors and reaffirming the shared commitment of partners to supporting vulnerable communities in northern Syria. It highlights the importance of international partnerships in supporting the education sector and demonstrates how investments in educational infrastructure and learning environments can create lasting opportunities for children and contribute to community recovery and resilience.
Through the Qandil Education Project, Al-Ihsan Charity and Development continues, in partnership with UNICEF and supporting donors, to expand access to education, improve learning environments, and strengthen community engagement in education.
