WE DID IT!!! Thanks to the blessings of God and your generosity, we have raised the purchase price of the land in Belize! We are now under contract and hope to close next month. This allows us to begin focusing on the things that come next. We will need to rehab the housing on-site, dig wells and install septic systems, install solar electricity, and purchase vehicles. We know that with your continued support and encouragement, we will reach our goals.

Good morning! The Meat & Greet will be held at the Sun Outdoors Campground in Sevierville. The address is 1004 Parkway, Sevierville, TN 37862. We have reserved the pavilion in the back of the campground. NOTE: You must have registered to be able to attend.

They are limiting parking to 7 cars in the gravel lot beside the pavilion. If possible please park in the lot behind the pool. It's the lot on the left as you pull into the campground. You can either walk (by following the map) or wait as we will have someone shuttling folks to the pavilion.

WHAT A WEEK!!! We are beyond blessed to have served the kingdom in Apopa, El Salvador for the last 7 days. It has been one of the most amazing trips, and you can read all about it.

16 individuals from 2 nations, 5 states, and 6 congregations traveled to Apopa to serve the church and the community. It was WONDERFUL. We could not have asked for better. Our campaigners were ready and willing to go even though it was HOT. Victor and Veronica (the local preacher and his wife) were a blessing and a half! The local members were gracious and eager to work alongside us daily. The community was open, friendly, and accepting of the Word. The community board was a blessing to our work. The city was accommodating and encouraging of our efforts. We are beyond blessed and thankful!

We had a productive campaign where there were visitors each night, 10 Bible studies, 4 baptisms, and 1 restoration. However, success is not measured in numbers. It’s measured in relationships, in actions, in blessings, in hugs, in laughter, and in tears.

Our goal is always to reach the lost and save souls! This week specifically it was to evangelize the local area around the building through traditional campaign methods and community agriculture projects, and to continue to foster a growing relationship with the local municipality and community board.

This week we had Andrés and Yeimy Coto from Costa Rica with us. Andrés preached our meeting, door knocked, studied, and translated, while Yeimy went door knocking, translated, and helped to teach children’s classes. We door knocked, evangelized on the street and in the parks. We held classes for kids in parks and at the building. We held a clothing drive for those in need. We repaired the church building and upgraded the aquaponics unit. We also saw the first harvest of tilapia! We made a new sign for the church, created a baptistery, repaired playground equipment, and cleaned a local park.

In addition to all the above, we also created a garden inside a municipal park that will provide food for the families in the surrounding area and will act as an extension of goodwill from the congregation here. We developed a 160-square-foot regenerative garden with help and input from the community. Billy Joel and Gabriela are some of the community leaders who were with us each day. They are excited about this addition to the park and what it will mean for the people in the community. We pray that this is a small start to something much bigger.

When people see that we care for their physical needs, they’re more apt to be responsive when we help them with their spiritual needs. Our agriculture projects are always geared toward outreach. Many folks from the area came to watch what we were doing, and some even helped! They are very excited that the church is taking an interest in their community and is trying to help them in this way specifically. On the last day we taught an agriculture seminar on regenerative gardening. We had several members of the community, as well as the local soccer team. It was encouraging to see so many excited about what we were teaching.

Thank you to all who have been praying for this trip and those who helped to make it happen. Lord willing, we are coming back next year… stay tuned ;)
