Our Encounter Team is headed to Texas!

Today, Andrew, Trace, Amanda, Delainey, Caroline, Carol, Michelle, Sharon & Harrison** are heading out for a week of learning, serving, and listening alongside our partners .

Would you join us in praying for them throughout the week?
• That they would have space to learn about migration through the lens of Scripture
• That they would grow in understanding what it means to be a neighbor as followers of Jesus
• That they would listen well to the people and communities they encounter
• That God would give them open hearts and a willingness to be changed by what they see and hear

Missed our Summer Book Club? 📚 Don't worry. We’re back for round two! Join the Mobilization Team this fall as we read The God Who Sees by Karen González.

Read at your own pace, meet new people, and join us for meaningful conversations about faith, immigration, belonging, and what it means to see others the way God does.

Everyone is welcome! 🍂 Link in bio for all the details.

Meet Emilee and Ryan, our 26/27 interns!

From serving alongside community partners to helping equip others to get involved, they’ll be jumping into a little bit of everything throughout the year. So, if you see them around, make sure to say hi! 👋

We’ve been a team for a whole year now, so we figured it’s probably time you officially meet us! 👋🏼

Today, our Encounter Team is heading to Western North Carolina!

This week, they'll partner with Avery County Habitat for Humanity, helping build a home in a community still recovering from Hurricane Helene.

Over the past several weeks, this team has been preparing for this experience, and today they begin the journey. As they go, we'd love for you to join us in praying for them.

〰️Pray for meaningful relationships with Avery County Habitat for Humanity and the local community.
〰️Pray for safety as they serve on the construction site.
〰️ Pray that God would continue to shape each team member as they participate in what He is doing.

Our Family Ministry Encounter Team is serving with Lighthouse Family Retreat this week! 💙

After months of preparing, two Port City families are spending the week encouraging families impacted by childhood cancer. As they serve, we pray they'll also experience God at work in and through the people they meet.

Would you join us in praying for them this week?

🤍 Pray they would have open hearts to experience God through His work in others.
🤍 Pray they would bring encouragement and joy to every family they meet.

Thank you for covering our team in prayer!
