We will continue training our people in South Sudan in peace building as a path to sustainable peace. Funded by United Nations Democracy Fund (UNDEF), RDAA South Sudan in consortia with LM International South Sudan on Friday 8/8/2025 completed a two days training for Youth, Women and people with abilities in Yambio, Western Equatoria State, South Sudan at Yambio women Empowerment Center in Conflict resolution and management.

By the end of the two days training, the participants through group work showed that they had understood the causes of conflict, the steps taken for conflict to cause damage and how to neutralize or resolve the cause of any conflict before it reaches the destructive stage. They also were trained in conflict mediation and a clear difference between mediation and judgement was made for them

At the end of the day they all left with renewed knowledge in conflict resolution and management through the conflict management tools which they will use in their communities to ensure that the relative peace they enjoy now can improve and became sustainable and spread through out the State and country at large.
