OFFICE OF THE CHAIRPERSON.

EXECUTIVE ORDER FOR THE APPOINTMENT OF AWEIL WEST COUNTY STUDENTS ASSOCIATION IN UNIVERSITY OF BAHR EL GHAZAL EXECUTIVE MEMBERS.

TITLE AND COMMENCEMENT.

The title shall be cited as a chairperson's executive order for the appointment of executive members of Aweil West County Students' Association in University Of Bahr El Ghazal in year 2026.

The order No:(1) of 12th/April/2026 shall come into effect on the date of its signature by the chairperson.

THE ORDER.

I Apin Deng Gol Apin the chairperson endorsed, do hereby issue this executive order for the appointment of executive members of (AWCSA-UBG) as follows.

1. Nanzi Nyingong Anei- deputy chairperson.

2. Santino Deng Lual Deng- Secretary General.

3. Jeremiah Jathen Athum- secretary for finance.

4. Aguer Aguer Lual- deputy secretary for finance.

5. Micheal Thiep Deng- secretary for information.

6. Akol Deng Lual- secretary for academic affairs.

7. Kuan Machar Kuan- secretary for sports and culture.

8. Joseph Ngor Deng- Secretary for external affairs.

On 12th. April. 2026 the Aweil West County Students' Association-UBG handover the leadership to the general assembly and endorsed the fourth chairperson after:
1. Piol Thiep Piol (2020-2021).
2. Kang Nhial Kang (2021-2022).
3. Tong Kiir Tong (2022-2026).
4. Apin Deng Gol (2026-2027).

This is to inform you that the outgoing leadership of the Aweil West County Student's Association at the University of Bahr El Ghazal, led by Tong Kiir Tong, has officially handed over to the general assembly.

As per our constitution, which outlines rotational leadership, Apin Deng Gol from Gumguer East has been appointed as the newly chairperson.

We welcome Apin Deng Gol to the role and look forward to working together".

The leadership of Aweil West Student Association at the University of Bahr El Ghazal would like to inform all members of the General Assembly that there will be an official dissolution and handover ceremony tomorrow morning at the Public Health premises.

The current leadership, led by the humble Chairperson Tong Kiir Tong, well known as Putin, will conclude its service after successfully completing two terms in leadership.

The trust that was given to him by the General Assembly will officially come to an end tomorrow. During his leadership, Tong Kiir Tong played an important role in guiding the association through two terms from 2022–2023 and 2023–2024, and concluding in the 2025–2026 academic period.

Therefore, all members of the General Assembly are kindly invited to attend the meeting tomorrow morning to witness the official handover of leadership to the newly elected Chairperson of Aweil West Student Association at the University of Bahr El Ghazal.

RESPONSE FROM AWEIL WEST STUDENTS ASSOCIATION

It is with great honor and pleasure that we acknowledge the Electoral Committee of the Aweil Student Association at the University of Bahr El Ghazal for taking the important initiative of inviting Aweil West Student Association to rejoin the main association.

Last year, Aweil West Student Association withdrew from the association due to concerns related to hate speech and the inability of the leadership at that time to take appropriate steps to unite students and lead them with generosity, kindness, and a spirit of self-determination.

However, yesterday the Electoral Committee officially wrote to Aweil West Student Association requesting that we rejoin the association in the spirit of unity, peace, harmony, and forgiveness among students.

Therefore, Aweil West Student Association, under the leadership of Chairperson Kiir Tong, has accepted the request of the Electoral Committee and agreed to rejoin the association without delay for the sake of unity and cooperation among all Aweil students at the University of Bahr El Ghazal.

We appreciate this initiative and look forward to working together in the spirit of unity, peace, and mutual respect.

To: Aweil East Students' Association-UBG led by David Dau Dut.

As we prepare for unity and togetherness of our beloved state, we have learnt that there are still some few individuals within your assembly that are splitting hate speech against us (Aweil West).

Earlier this morning Dr. Dut Kiir Deng posted about union of Aweil Students' Association in University Of Bahr El Ghazal but there was horrific, toxic and defamatory comment made by one of our sister named "Agul Rose" in which we'll not display her comment online for the sake of our dignity as Aweil and for her own good.

As the students of Aweil West in University Of Bahr El Ghazal we condemn such act against our community, we must be respected unconditional.

As per now, we're demanding for an official apology not from Aweil East but from one particular wrong doer with period not exceeding twenty four hours (24hrs) from the immediate effect of this letter.

BREAKING.

The leadership of self-proclaimed chairman Ariath Garang Ariath and his executive are having great internal conflict among themselves especially upon the financial mismanagement.

Early this morning, Ariath himself wrote on ASA-UBG group chat about the dissolution that will take place today (at 11:00am) without notifying the general assembly earlier. The first leadership to handover the office secretly.

What is even shocking is that there is Secretary for information but he choose to inform the students by himself.

The Aweil Student Association at the University of Bahr El Ghazal (ASA), under the leadership of the self-proclaimed chairperson Ariath Garang Ariath, is currently facing serious internal disputes with members of the executive over the alleged misuse of funds allocated by the Northern Bahr El Ghazal State Government.

The association appears to be controlled by a small group of individuals, resulting in poor financial management, disorganized administration, and questionable leadership practices. A meeting that was called last Sunday ended without resolution and instead raised more concerns and accusations among members.

There are also reports that a dissolution meeting is being planned at MBI Hotel in Daraja, located approximately 20 miles away from the university.

This choice of venue raises concerns that it is intended to limit student participation and avoid accountability, particularly from those who may question the handling of association funds.

Furthermore, the current leadership has failed to promote peace, unity, or reconciliation among students, especially those who withdrew from the association last year.
