Another 250 Internally Displaced People (IDP) have received healthcare at a medical outreach in War-rom. They receive assessment, doctor consultation, medicine, wound dressings, gospel message and prayer.

This lady fled communal conflict on foot and travelled over 65 miles (100 kilometers) to find a place of safety.

As a homeless Internally Displaced Person (IDP), she has struggled to find work or food to feed herself and her children.

This lady fled a conflict to come to Tonj. She lost her son that day and then walked 4 days to find safety. When she arrived, there was nowhere for her to live. She become a homeless Internally Displaced Person (IDP). She struggled to find food and was suffering from severe hunger.

We were able to help her because of your support. We are hoping to feed thousands more yet. Please keep this in your prayers 🙏 and spread the word. The more people that come together, the more we can help.

These people are homeless. Sleeping on the dirt, no mosquito nets, eating grass and no shelter from the weather. This is the life of an Internally Displaced Person (IDP). They are vulnerable to all kinds of sicknesses.

We are doing medical outreaches in IDP clusters in our local area. Too many to see in 1 day. The main sickness is malaria. Every patient sees a doctor, receives medicine and hears the gospel.

We are able to show these people care, compassion and kindness. However, resources is where we are needing help. Please keep this in your prayers 🙏.

The internally displaced people in Tonj are living in difficult conditions. They build shelters using tree litter and unused rubbish. They sleep in dirt and have little to eat.

We, the body of Christ, can work together to help them in deed and truth.

In truth… we share the good news about Jesus and his promise to fix this broken world.

in deed… we help them practically with food distributions and medical outreaches. We are also trying to get them tarps for shelter.

Lepers are needing food as well…

Outside of Tonj town there is a colony of lepers who are reaching out to us because they are desperately hungry. They often have missing fingers, toes or limbs which makes it difficult for them to mobilise or cultivate to get their own food.

When the body of Christ comes together, we are able to help people like this. Showing compassion to those that are vulnerable.

What does a starving person do if they cannot walk?

This grandmother was so hungry that she asked her grandson to push her in a wheelbarrow to the food distribution. He also needed to push her home with the additional weight of the sack of food.

These are the sacrifices that South Sudanese families make when they are hungry… and God uses our sacrifices to help these hungry families.
