Following escalating regional conflicts, thousands of South Sudanese have returned from Sudan and other neighboring countries to Warrap State. Many of these returnees were displaced due to the deteriorating security situation in Khartoum, Blue Nile, and other host regions. Their return, though timely and necessary, has placed significant pressure on land, water, education, and health services in already resource-constrained host communities.
This return has triggered social friction, including disputes over land ownership, cultural tensions, and the perception of unequal access to aid. In this context, , with support from and local partners, initiated a community consultative dialogue to mitigate tensions, foster peaceful reintegration, and enhance civic engagement.
The meetings also sought to create pathways for long-term solutions through inclusive governance structures and advocacy for civic space and engagement for protection of civilian which may support the voluntary return of IDPs and returnees to their place of origin.

To end poverty and hunger, many things will have to change: institutions, trade rules, technology and ways of thinking.

Meet women and men with the courage to pioneer new solutions and to pursue new opportunities, even in the face of uncertainty and hardship. They are building a better world for their families and the generations to come.

What sparks change for people living in poverty includes; microloan, access to water for crops and domestic animals, use of an improved road and mobile phone in a remote village, a personal vision grounded in hope and courage?

All we need is your little support to reach out to the most vulnerable in green fertile land.
