Some of the Newly Trained Animators during the Ecological Activity, doing the seed project in St. Paul's Major Seminary - Munuki, Juba. Under the initiatives of the LSM.

The Laudato Si’ Animators Program is a flagship initiative of the Laudato Si’ Movement
(LSM) that equips individuals to lead ecological conversion and action in their communities.
Through this free online training, participants deepen their understanding of ecological and
social issues in light of Pope Francis’ encyclical Laudato Si’ and gain practical tools to mobilize their communities, spearhead ecological initiatives, and advocate for meaningful change to address the ecological crisis.

Raising Hope highlights initiatives that celebrate integral ecology during this 10th anniversary of Laudato Si’ and the Jubilee of Hope. Your event could be:

Prayer & Reflection – Vigils, prayer gatherings, retreats, or spiritual reflections inspired by Laudato Si’.
Educational Activities – Webinars, conferences, workshops, and discussions on integral ecology and care for creation.
Community Engagement & Advocacy – Public talks, marches, campaigns, and initiatives promoting sustainability and social justice.
Creative & Cultural Expressions – Art exhibits, music performances, storytelling, and film screenings reflecting Laudato Si’ values.
Ecological Actions – Tree planting, clean-up drives, permaculture projects, and other environmental efforts.
Digital Events – Online meetings, livestreams, and virtual campaigns to raise awareness globally.

The Animators who participated in the ongoing Laudato Si' Animators Program 2025 in the premise of St. Paul's Major Seminary Munuki, Juba.

The Laudato Si’ Animators Program is a flagship initiative of the Laudato Si’ Movement (LSM) that equips individuals to lead ecological conversion and action in their communities. Through this free online training, participants deepen their understanding of ecological and social issues in light of Pope Francis’ encyclical Laudato Si’ and gain practical tools to mobilize their communities, spearhead ecological initiatives, and advocate for meaningful change to address the ecological crisis.
Graduates of the program become members of the Laudato Si’ Movement, gaining access to ongoing training, resources, and a global network of Laudato Si’ Animators. Throughout the training, they receive guidance and support from experienced mentors.
The goals of this training programme are:
● Deepen understanding of integral ecology and the teachings of Laudato Si’
● Inspire ecological conversion and lifestyle changes that reflect care for our common home
● Empower grassroots leaders to initiate and lead creation care efforts in their communities
