Our world faces severe environmental challenges, including climate change, loss of biodiversity, and resource depletion.

To our community and everyone who supports and protects our environment — thank you.

Every tree you plant, every piece of plastic you refuse, every clean-up you join, and every conversation you start makes a difference. Protecting our land, water, and air is protecting our future, our health, and the next generation.

Today, let’s recommit. One small action from each of us becomes a big change for all of us.

SudILE was proudly represented at Global Growth Conference 2026 in Rabat by Mr. Mark Bak, Program Director and Head of Research and Innovation, alongside Mr. Diing P. Arok, Chief Communications Officer and Head of Communications.

Organized by Amadeus Institute, the conference brought together global leaders, policymakers, innovators, and development stakeholders to discuss sustainable growth and emerging opportunities across Africa and the Global South. 

During the conference, the SudILE delegation attended the panel session on “Water, energy and agriculture as foundations for sustainable growth,” a discussion that closely aligns with SudILE’s pillar on climate resilience and action.

The session emphasized Africa’s growing need for sustainable resource management, innovation, and regional collaboration to drive long-term economic growth and environmental sustainability.

Through engagements like these, SudILE continues to advance youth leadership, research, innovation, and sustainable development across Africa.

SudILE Organization’s Team, led by CEO Mr. Agoot Kur JB, together with Mrs. Anyieth Kur (Finance & Administration Officer) and Adv. Machar Malou (Head of Constitutional & Legal Affairs), held a productive meeting with the Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Environment & Forestry - Republic of South Sudan.

The meeting, attended by directors and senior officials from the Ministry, focused on introducing SudILE Organization’s organizational profile, sharing our strategic priorities and exploring key areas of partnership and collaboration. The engagement also provided an opportunity to seek technical guidance from the Ministry on advancing environmental sustainability, climate action, and community-centered development initiatives.

During the meeting, the Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to supporting local organizations in the implementation of climate action and environmental protection initiatives across South Sudan, recognizing the important role of civil society and youth-led organizations in driving sustainable development and resilience.

SudILE Organization appreciates the Ministry for the warm reception and constructive discussions and looks forward to strengthening collaboration for a greener, more resilient, and sustainable South Sudan.
