With unwavering commitment to humanitarian service delivery, the Institution for Development & Humanitarian Organization (IDHO) South Sudan, in partnership with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) who donated WASH items, will be launching a critical initiatives to address the urgent needs of conflict-affected communities.

IDHO Teams will be deployed to multiple locations across Central Equatoria State (CES) and Jonglei to deliver essential Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) services. These efforts specifically target internally displaced persons (IDPs), returnees, and vulnerable populations severely impacted by the ongoing crisis.

This collaboration underscores IDHO’s dedication to creating sustainable solutions and fostering resilience in the most affected regions. Together, we strive to restore hope, dignity, and essential services for those in need.

IDHO, in its continued commitment to supporting vulnerable communities, has distributed dignity kits to women of reproductive age and adolescent girls in the flood-affected areas of Jebel Ladu Payam. This initiative aims to address the urgent needs of these groups, providing essential hygiene and sanitary products to improve their health and dignity during this challenging time.

The distribution was carried out in collaboration with local partners, ensuring that the most affected individuals, particularly women and girls, have access to the necessary resources to manage their personal hygiene with dignity. In the wake of the recent floods, which have exacerbated existing vulnerabilities, these dignity kits serve as a critical component of our broader emergency response, aimed at promoting gender equality, protecting women and girls, and safeguarding their well-being in the aftermath of the crisis.

Through such initiatives, IDHO remains steadfast in its mission to empower marginalized populations, mitigate the impact of natural disasters, and support the resilience of the communities we serve.

At the beginning of this year, the Institution for Development & Humanitarian Organization (IDHO) embarked on a transformative journey to uplift local communities through our livelihood initiatives. We proudly trained 20 women beneficiaries in sustainable farming practices and provided them with essential farming tools.
