Today, the PLO Lumumba Foundation – Greater Sudan Chapter successfully held a training session for our University Ambassadors.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Comrade Awudu, the AMP Coordinator, for facilitating the session with great dedication and insight. We also appreciate every ambassador who turned up and participated actively—your presence and commitment made this session a success.

This initiative is one of our major projects, as we believe it is important for young people in our universities to learn more about the PLO Lumumba Foundation and the work we do in nurturing purpose-driven leadership across Africa.

We wish our ambassadors the very best as they carry out their activities in their respective institutions. Currently, we are proud to have a presence in:

Together, we are shaping a new generation of leaders for South Sudan, Sudan, Africa, and the world.

Statement from Greater Sudan Chapter.
On the 30th Anniversary of the PLO Lumumba Foundation

Today, as Africa celebrates the 30th anniversary of the PLO Lumumba Foundation, the Greater Sudan Chapter joins in with deep gratitude and pride.

We salute Prof. PLO Lumumba, whose vision and unwavering commitment to ethical leadership, Pan-Africanism, and youth empowerment have shaped this powerful movement across the continent.

Though our chapter was officially inaugurated in March 2024, our chapter’s journey began in 2022 with a few committed youth from Sudan and South Sudan.

Since then, we have:
Organized two webinars and mentored 36 young people;

Built a WhatsApp community of over 90 youth engaging with the Foundation’s mission;

Established student ambassadors in three universities:
1. University of Juba,
2. Upper Nile University,
3. Starford International University – Juba;

Participated in the 2024 and 2025 Pan-African Quiz, which we consider a key part of our intellectual growth;

And in March 2025, we proudly led a delegation of 29 young people to visit the Foundation’s headquarters — a moment that deeply inspired all of us.

We thank the main Foundation for its guidance, trust, and mentorship. And to Prof. Lumumba, we remain forever grateful. Your life’s work continues to inspire the youth of Sudan and South Sudan.

As we look ahead, we remain committed to growing our impact, nurturing leaders, and standing firm in the belief that a better Africa is possible — and it begins with us.

Happy 30th Anniversary to the PLO Lumumba Foundation. Together, we rise. Together, we serve. Together, we build the Africa we deserve.

Your wisdom, courage, and unapologetic voice for a liberated, united, and self-reliant Africa continue to ignite hope and purpose in the hearts of many, especially the youth.

We are deeply honored to be part of your vision through the Foundation, and we celebrate the extension of the Foundation into our nations. It is a sign that the fire you have lit is spreading across Africa—and we, the Sudanese people, are ready to carry the torch forward.
