The Organization of Children Harmony(TOCH) was formed in 2008 to address pressing issues facing South Sudanese especially children, youth and women such as:
1. Violations of children’s rights
2. Communal fights or escalation of tribal conflicts(e.g. High rate of illiteracy among children, youth and women
4. Lack of educational opportunities for children, youth and women
5. Insecurity due to availa
bility of guns/small arms within the hands of civilians
6. Poverty
7. Harmful traditional practices
8. Migration of children from rural areas into urban areas thus, becoming street children in the markets or towns
9. Gender-based violence. TOCH operates in South Sudan with Head Office in Juba and it as the branch offices in Kuajok(Warrap state),Wau and Tonj North county that serves the purposes of coordination, networking and implementation of the projects with government line ministries, communities, local authorities, commissions and UN/NGO agencies. TOCH is having an effort to raise funds to work in Upper Nile and Equatoria regions especially on child protection and Peace building programs. In each of the project location, there will be a Zonal office for the implementation of the project activities identified by the communities based on their needs. BACKGROUND INFORMATION

1. Due to the above mentioned problems, there was a need on founding an indigenous organization with similar objectives to address the mentioned above issues through community initiated projects with a task of working for children. LOCATION
TOCH operates in South Sudan with Head Office in Juba and it has branch offices in Kuajok (Warrap state),Wau (W. Bahr el Ghazal) and Tonj North county that serves the purposes of coordination, networking and implementation of the projects with government line ministries, communities, local authorities, commissions and UN/NGO agencies. Membership and Partnership:
TOCH is open to individuals and organizations committed to upholding and promoting her Vision, Mission and values. TOCH is currently having partnership with UNICEF child protection, Pact Sudan and Safer World organizations. And it is working in collaboration with the ministry of Social Development, peace commission, ministry of local government and law enforcement agency-Warrap state.
