Our Story

LiveWell is a humanitarian healthcare agency founded by group of medical Doctor and Public Health specialists in 2013 and fully registered with RRC in 2016 (RRC Reg.# 254) in Juba, South Sudan. It operates in Jonglei State (Bor South, Twic East, Duk, Ayod, Pibor and Jebel Boma), Lakes State (Yirol East, Yirol West), Eastern Equatoria State (Kapoeta East, Magwi), and Central Equatoria State (Juba, Rokon OUR MOTTO: LiveWell’s motto is “Improving the healthcare services for our people” OUR VISION: LiveWell operations are based on its vision, which is a “Healthy, Endowed and a Peaceful nation”. To reach such a nation, LiveWell runs a health care programs that could cut across nutrition, water; sanitation; & hygiene (WASH), gender & child protection, and capacity building programs. Within the organization, we narrowed it down so as to identify health problem that resulted from poor nutrition, Gender-based violence, poor WASH practices, harmful traditional practices, customary laws against children and women, cattle rustling, child abductions, diseases outbreak so as to prevent, protect and manage them appropriately.”. OUR GOALS 1. Prevent and decrease mortality and morbidity in remote settings, IDPS and conflict-affected areas of South Sudan. 2. Reduce, response and prevent the occurrences of Gender-based Violence and child abuses. 3. Reduced malnutrition in children, pregnant and lactating mothers in the remote settings of South Sudan. 4. Prevent and reduced emergency diseases outbreak from poor WASH practices OUR OBJECTIVES 1. To increased access to quality curative and preventative healthcare services to returnees, conflict-affected areas; internally displayed persons (IDPs) and other remote areas that are inaccessible to other agencies. 2. To increase access to basic response and preventive services for Gender-based Violence and child abuses related to economics, army, and harmful cultural practices. 3. To increased access to basic curative and preventative nutrition amongst returnees, IDPS, and rural areas that are inaccessible in South Sudan. 4. To promote the use of accessible clean water using the local resources, and good sanitation hygiene practices.
