This is how a community gets water not magic, just method. And it starts long before a crew arrives: months of community meetings, land agreements, and training local caretakers who will keep the pump running long after we are gone.

Clean water is an event. Sustained water is a system.

Donate a day of drilling.

1.4 million people die every year from preventable diseases tied to unsafe water.

That is a city gone every year.

In the communities we serve, cholera, typhoid and diarrhoeal disease still top the list of childhood killers and every one of them begins at a water source.

This week we are telling the story of prevention. Because the cheapest medicine in the world is still a clean well.

Discipleship is at the heart of transformation.

Through the DMDT training, Alleviate equips passionate individuals to know God, serve others, and lead with purpose. From classroom learning to practical service and leadership coaching, participants are empowered to become agents of lasting change — inspiring others and transforming communities from within.

We are glad to be able to make more disciples for Christ!

1 in 5 children in EastAfrica still misses a basic vaccine.

That is not a supply problem. It is a last-mile problem: cold chains, clean clinics, trained nurses, and water to wash between doses.

Each week our frontline nurses carry vaccines deeper than roads go. In our catchment clinics in DRC and South Sudan, routine immunization coverage has risen by over 30% since we partnered with local health teams. Progress is slow. It is also undefeated.

Share this post to amplify routine immunization.

"I walked 7km in labour to reach the clinic. The tap outside the delivery room was the first thing I noticed: it was running."_ a mother in Koboko, West Nile

Every clinic we serve has one non-negotiable: water that flows when a mother arrives. This month we are raising support to upgrade WASH systems in 3 more maternal units across our regions.

Every $40 restocks one clean-birth kit. Every share tells another mother she is not forgotten.

Tap the link in bio to fund a clean-birth kit today.

Today the world marks two quiet heroes — the midwife, and the soap bar.

Clean hands reduce newborn infection risk by up to 40%.

A skilled midwife reduces maternal deaths by up to 80%.

Put them in the same room, next to a running tap, and you have what every mother deserves: a safe start.

To every midwife walking miles in South Sudan and beyond— we see you and to every hand washed before a delivery, thank you.

Before every birth, every vaccine and every consultation — there must be water.

In South Sudan and beyond, a single borehole turns a waiting room into a safe one.

This May, we are telling the story of what clean water makes possible and we are starting this week with the hands that deliver life.

Follow along. Share a post. Change a village.

Imagine starting your day with a long walk just to find water.

Now imagine that water isn’t even safe to drink.

For many families, this is reality.

If clean water was just a few steps from your home, what would change for you?

We’d love to hear your thoughts.
