PDM-A is not-for-profit, national organization registered under the NGOs Act in the Republic of South Sudan with a registration number 1157 by South Sudan Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (SSRC). The organization has six (6) founding members, five (5) members of board of directors and three (3) members of the advisory board with an executive body led by the executive director who is charged with responsibility to organize and control the operations and management of the organization. 2.1 Objectives;
The Organization has the following objectives:
To engage youth and women to carryout development program and projects in the areas of farming by setting up Collective Demonstration Farms (CDFs) used as farmers field schools (FFSs) for food crops like cereals, cassava, leguminous crops, oil seeds and poultry & piggery and others in order to generate income for people in the community and eradicate famine and poverty
To collaborate and partner with Humanitarian aid organizations and development institutions in carrying out emergencies relief in South Sudan and other countries in Africa
To conduct and carryout awareness workshops, community and leadership transformative trainings, reconciliation, dialogue, youth social gatherings for cultural diversities and moral orientation programs in South Sudan and beyond,
To directly or indirectly help in third party intervention through mediation process as an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) method to help resolve and prevent the wide spread communal violence in many South Sudanese communities and beyond
To promote social integrations and social cohesion by initiation and development of modern local sports avenue like motor and bike race (rallies), athletics and other important cultural events for full participation and interaction of youth in South Sudan with international friends.
2.2 Vision; A free South Sudan from conflict , poverty and famine where every Citizen live in peace, have opportunity to grow, develop their own skills, contribute to their families and community’s economic and social welfare in a meaningful way.
2.3 Mission; To integrate communities across South Sudan through a comprehensive and coordinated Strategies/approaches for intense Peaceful, Economic and Social Development of the people to build Unity, Love, Trust& confidence, Cooperation, Social Mobility, livelihood and welfare.
2.4 GUIDING PRINCIPLES
The Organization shall be an autonomous, non-profit making entity.
Members of the Organization shall undertake to be open, honest and accountable in any relationships with everyone we work with, and with each other.
Members of the Organization shall have zero tolerance to bribery, corruption and frauds wherever it has been reliably identified.
The Organization shall work cooperatively with all individuals and groups, and non-profit organizations, government and international bodies committed to eradicate poverty, subject only to the policies and priorities set by our governing values and ethics.
The Organization shall provide accurate and timely reports of our activities to our donors and other stakeholders as shall be required.
The Organization shall commit to building, working with and working through relevant clusters worldwide.
All prospective Members and Associate Members of the Organization shall have access to the constitution of the Organization upon demand.
Prospective Members will be required to state that they are aware of the objectives of the Organization.
2.5 CORE VALUES
The Organization aims to implement proven projects that adhere to international standards, through transparency, accountability with the aim of attaining sustainable impacts.
Without prejudice to the generality of the clause above, the specific core values of the Organization are the following:

Participation, loyalty, and justice form the foundation of solidarity by promoting solidarity among communities; the Organization seeks to build peace and development in South Sudan.
Strength, Patience and Morality
The Organizations works to help communities develop inner strength, patience and morality. These values form the basis of non-violence.
Gender Equality
It is the belief and practice of the Organization that women and men are equal partners in building a culture of peace and development and should be treated with equality.
Non-Prejudice and Openness
The Organization approaches its work with a philosophy that all people, regardless of age, race, ethnicity, gender and religion, have a greater role to contribute to one another and to the organization.
Un-questionable integrity and Respect for Diversity
Members of the Organization shall be honest and responsible in all that they do and hold themselves to the highest moral and ethical standards. They shall respect others, and act with courage and humility at all times. The Organization understand values embedded in religious and ethnicities, work effectively with people from all backgrounds, treating everyone fairly and in non-discriminatory manner and giving positive and practical support to vulnerable victims.
Transparency and Accountability
The Organization employs best standards in management and utilization of resources in order to make a difference through learning, sharing and practicing new ideas and information. The Organization believes that citizens have a right to hold governments and institutions accountable, to expect them to respect their rights and do what they say they will do.

Peace and Development Mission Africa has started in investing the establishment process and succeeded with the constitution development, registration and legal requirement (Logo, Stamp and heading papers), establishment of advisory board, Putting together management/executive team, identifying target groups and selecting areas of the initial operation (Juba, Yei, Yambio and Terekeka)
