Vocational Skill Development Organization (VOSDO) is a National NGO (NNGO) that has been working in South Sudan Since 2014 and legally incorporated on 16th of June 2015. VOSDO is founded by a group of South Sudanese who successfully completed their Masters Degree in Vocational Pedagogy (Technical Vocational Education and Training) through Masters’ Scholarship Program under the Norwegian Quota Sche

me Scholarships in the period between 2008 to 2011 both in Norway and Uganda and the group decided to returned home immediately after compilation of study to participate in the new nation building. The VOSDO program aims at empowering out-of-school, unemployed and other disadvantaged youths, Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and Refugees with livelihoods skills for employment and income generation. In order to achieve this, the organization adopted seven approaches which includes Vocational industrial skills training, Water, Sanitation and hygiene (WASH), Life skills, Entrepreneurship, Reproductive Health, Literacy and Job Placements.
