SPEDP together with Ministry of General Education and Instruction with few Education Can not Wait IPs concluded a five day EiE tool validation workshop convened by UNESCO. These set of tools will be integrated into the South Sudan Education Management Information System (EMIS). Once completed, all partners implementing Education in Emergency will be directly to use these tools. SPEDP is blessed to be among the first organisation to undertake the a pilot rollout of tools in Budi, Kapoeta North and Magwi counties of Eastern Equatorial State after SPEDP competitively won the bid last month. The role out will ensure 170 teachers, head teachers and Education officials at state, county, payam and schools are trained in data collection, analysis, computer and data literacy, management and dispensation from the school level through to the Ministry of General Education and Instruction to aid planning and decision making. Our teams and Ministries TOTs will be on ground in about two weeks time. Congratulations to the SPEDP family.
