Yesterday's online tournament turned out to be a bigger affair than I initially realized. While reviewing some of my errors, I stumbled upon a startling revelation: there were 23 players participating, not the 10 I had assumed.

My initial estimate was based on a quick glance at the player list, which only showed the first 10 names. However, upon scrolling down, I discovered a hidden treasure trove of additional competitors.

This unexpected surge in participation caught me off guard. I had prepared for a small-scale tournament, but suddenly found myself facing a formidable field of opponents. It was a humbling experience, but also an exciting one.

The increased competition forced me to up my game. I had to think more strategically, adapt my tactics, and push myself to the limit. In the end, I managed to secure a respectable finish, but I know I could have done better.

As I reflect on the tournament, I can't help but chuckle at my initial assumption. It's a reminder that even the most seemingly insignificant details can have a major impact.

To all the players who participated, I extend my congratulations. It was an honor to compete against such skilled opponents. And to those who managed to finish in the top 10, well done! You earned your place among the elite.
