: Every Saturday, to our Girls Talk Show Programs on VOEE 97.5 FM Torit, where girls discuss and challenge negative cultural norms. These live interactive programs allow listeners to learn and gets firsthand information from the girls' experiences—including early marriage, gender-based violence, and education barriers—helping to shift patriarchal mindsets with support from Global Girls Glow USA.

South Sudan: Organizing physical community skateboarding games for young girls is a powerful way to build confidence, foster inclusivity, and teach fundamental skills in a supportive environment. Grouping activities by skill level ensures that everyone, from absolute beginners to intermediate skaters, can safely participate.

: Women Relief Aid is running radio talk shows on VOEE 97.5 FM in Torit, to advocate for the rights of local women peacebuilders with focus on Kudo Payam. International Civil Society Action Network - ICAN's fund under campaign programs enable Women Relief Aid to educate the public, amplify female voices in Peace and Security.

With campaign funding, we continue to educate and advocate for the rights of local women peacebuilders as we respond to current gaps in the inclusivity, leveraging the unique position of women to create greater connectivity between top-down to bottom-up approaches. “Our efforts widen audience and increase the credibility of women as leaders for positive change.

: With Global Girls Glow , Women Relief Aid has kicked off weekly radio talk shows programs in VOEE 97.5 FM-Torit to reach more girls with vital information. In South Sudan, entrenched cultural norms, pervasive poverty & the impacts of historical conflict heavily marginalizes adolescent girls. Many of young girls faces extreme barriers to completing their education, including early or forced marriages, domestic burdens & defilement. The mainstream messaging regarding gender equity often fails to reach remote households. In addition, although, local radio stations exist, there is limited opportunities given to young girls to voice their views on critical issues that matter to them.

This project have created awareness platform to young girls to voice their views, challenges, and experience in relation to what they are facing now in the community. Under this talk shows, girls are given opportunity to openly discuss all form of violence they face in the community and how they try to overcome them. The program aim to achieve;
1. Positive behavioral change by convincing parents and community leaders to prioritize girls’ education over domestic labor.
2. Reduces the incidence of early and forced marriages as traditional and religious leaders are educated to speak against them.
3. Giving adolescent girl’s platform to speak for themselves, improved their confidence and reduced feelings of isolation.

As moves toward December 2026 General Election, Women Relief Aid with support from International Civil Society Action Network - ICAN under has launch campaign in Kudo Payam (Torit County, Eastern Equatoria State) ) to sensitize the local women centered on mitigating intercommunal conflict, reducing gender-based violence (GBV), and elevating women into local governance structures. Historically, women disadvantaged by severe patriarchal norms, women at the grassroots level. This campaign leveraged targeted programs to transition from passive victims of localized violence into active, frontline mediators.
